EKSTERIOR EKSTERIOR DAN INTERIOR GEREJA SION JAKARTA DALAM FOTOGRAFI ARSITEKTUR

ABSTRACT
Sion Jakarta is the oldest church still standing in Indonesia, built in 1695 by the Portuguese community. The church holds significant historical and architectural value, reflecting a blend of European style with local influences from the colonial era. However, visual documentation that highlights the architectural details of both the exterior and interior of Gereja Sion remains limited. This project aims to create architectural photography works that represent the unique visual character and historical essence of Gereja Sion. Through an exploratory and aesthetic approach, this work seeks to provide a new visual experience and insight for the audience regarding the importance of preserving historical buildings. In the creative process, the author refers to works by architectural photographers and employs data collection methods including direct observation, literature study, interviews, and trial photo shoots. The implementation method is divided into three stages: pre-production, production, and post-production. The final outcome of this project consists of 15 architectural photographs accompanied by descriptive texts that explain the concept, shooting techniques, and visual narratives behind each work.

ABSTRAK
Gereja Sion Jakarta merupakan gereja tertua yang masih berdiri di Indonesia, dibangun pada tahun 1695 oleh komunitas Portugis. Gereja ini memiliki nilai sejarah dan arsitektur yang tinggi, mencerminkan perpaduan gaya Eropa dengan pengaruh lokal pada masa kolonial. Namun, dokumentasi visual yang menyoroti detail arsitektur eksterior dan interior Gereja Sion masih tergolong terbatas. Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan karya fotografi arsitektur yang mampu merepresentasikan keunikan visual serta nilai historis dari bangunan Gereja Sion. Melalui pendekatan eksploratif dan estetis, karya ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pengalaman visual sekaligus wawasan baru bagi pembaca mengenai pentingnya pelestarian bangunan bersejarah. Dalam proses penciptaannya, penulis mengacu pada referensi karya dari fotografer arsitektur serta menerapkan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi langsung, studi pustaka, wawancara, dan trial pemotretan. Metode pelaksanaan dibagi ke dalam tiga tahap, yaitu praproduksi, produksi, dan pascaproduksi. Hasil akhir dari tugas akhir ini berupa 15 karya fotografi arsitektur beserta deskripsi yang menjelaskan konsep, teknis pengambilan gambar, serta narasi visual dari setiap karya yang dihasilkan.
