PERANCANGAN MOTION GRAPHIC SEBAGAI MEDIA EDUKASI TENTANG BAHAYA MENGONSUMSI DAGING ANJING UNTUK DOG MEAT FREE INDONESIA (DMFI)

This project is concerned with the consumption of dog meat, which not only poses
serious health risks such as E.Coli bacterial infections, Salmonella spp. and
hypertension due to high sodium content. In addition, the cruel practice of
slaughtering dogs creates suffering and the risk of spreading disease. As a solution,
this project aims to design motion graphics as an effective educational media for
Dog Meat Free Indonesia (DMFI) in raising public awareness about the dangers
of consuming dog meat. The motion graphic is designed to convey this information
in an attractive way that is designed with graphic design rules and is easy to
understand and uses strong visuals and informative narratives. With this approach,
it is hoped that the public will be more aware of the dangers of dog meat
consumption, support the DMFI campaign, and be motivated to stop the practice
for the sake of animal health and welfare.

Perancangan ini dilatar belakangi oleh pengonsumsian daging anjing yang tidak
hanya menimbulkan risiko kesehatan serius seperti infeksi bakteri E.Coli,
Salmonella spp., dan hipertensi akibat tingginya kandungan natrium. Selain itu,
praktik penyembelihan anjing yang kejam menciptakan penderitaan dan risiko
penyebaran penyakit. Sebagai solusi, proyek ini bertujuan merancang motion
graphic sebagai media edukasi yang efektif untuk Dog Meat Free Indonesia
(DMFI) dalam meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang bahaya mengonsumsi
daging anjing. Motion graphic dirancang untuk menyampaikan informasi ini secara
atraktif yang dirancang dengan kaidah desain grafis dan mudah dipahami serta
menggunakan visual yang kuat dan narasi yang informatif. Dengan pendekatan ini,
diharapkan masyarakat lebih sadar akan bahaya konsumsi daging anjing,
mendukung kampanye DMFI, dan termotivasi untuk menghentikan praktik tersebut
demi kesehatan dan kesejahteraan hewan.
