Early Childhood Education (PAUD) plays an important role in shaping children's cognitive, motor, and social skills. However, learning to count at the kindergarten level is often uninteresting because it is presented in an abstract and non-contextual manner. This study aims to develop a coloring book with plant and animal themes as an interactive and enjoyable learning medium for kindergarten children at the NU Tanjung Morawa Islamic Foundation. This book is designed to help children recognize numbers 1–10 through coloring activities that involve visual and fine motor skills, as well as contextual learning in accordance with the PAUD curriculum. The research focuses on the design process, content, and book design in accordance with the developmental characteristics of early childhood. It is hoped that this medium can increase learning interest, understanding of number concepts, and make the counting learning process more meaningful. The results of this study are also expected to be a reference for teachers and schools in developing creative learning media in early childhood education.
