DESAIN KEMASAN PRODUK COOKIESTEPUNG SUKUN DENGAN CITARASA TRADISIONAL KLEPON

ABSTRACT
The final project aims to make the packaging for klepon cookies by considering the
packaging material used, shape and size, packaging design, packaging regulations
to be included, and testing the shelf life of the product on the packaging. Data
techniques in this final project are observation, literature study, and expert
judgment. The results show that center seal packaging with metalized foil paper
material equipped with matte lamination is the right packaging for klepon cookies
products because this type of material is food grade, thick, and not easily damaged,
and is also able to protect products from external contamination. This packaging
selection fulfils the ergonomics of packaging, which is packaging that is easy to
carry, hold, and open. Creating attractive packaging must consider the use of color,
typography, and other design elements to produce a harmonious combination of
these elements. The design of food labels on klepon cookies packaging includes
information about the product and follows the packaging regulations regulated by
BPOM No. 20 of 2021. The shelf life of klepon cookies without packaging is six
days and the shelf life of klepon cookies with packaging is nine days. The
percentage increase in product shelf life in packaging is 50%. Recommendations
for further writing require trained panellists to test the shelf life of klepon cookie
products so that the results obtained are more valid.

ABSTRAK
Penulisan tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk membuat kemasan untuk produk cookies
klepon dengan memperhatikan material kemasan yang digunakan, bentuk dan
ukuran, desain kemasan, regulasi kemasan yang akan dicantumkan, dan pengujian
umur simpan produk pada kemasan. Teknik pengumpulan data pada tugas akhir ini
adalah observasi, studi pustaka, dan expert judgement. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa
kemasan center seal dengan material paper metalize foil yang dilengkapi laminasi
doff merupakan kemasan yang tepat untuk produk cookies klepon karena jenis
material ini sudah food grade, tebal dan tidak mudah rusak, juga mampu
melindungi produk dari kontaminasi luar. Pemilihan kemasan ini memenuhi faktor
ergonomi kemasan, yaitu kemasan yang mudah dibawa kemana saja, dipegang, dan
dibuka. Membuat kemasan yang menarik harus mempertimbangkan dalam
penggunaan warna, tipografi, dan elemen desain lainnya untuk menghasilkan
kombinasi yang harmonis dari elemen tersebut. Perancangan label pangan pada
kemasan cookies klepon mencakup tentang informasi mengenai produk dan sudah
sesuai dengan regulasi kemasan yang diatur oleh BPOM No. 20 Tahun 2021. Umur
simpan produk cookies klepon tanpa kemasan adalah enam hari dan umur simpan
produk cookies klepon dalam kemasan adalah sembilan hari. Dan persentase
kenaikan umur simpan produk dalam kemasan sebanyak 50%. Rekomendasi
penulisan lebih lanjut dibutuhkan panelis terlatih untuk pengujian umur simpan
produk cookies klepon agar hasil yang didapatkan lebih valid.
