PRODUSER PRODUKSI FILM DOKUMENTER ”AYOM”

ABSTRAK
Film adalah media dokumentasi yang sangat efektif untuk menyampaikan
pesan kepada khalayak melalui sebuah media cerita dalam bentuk audio visual.
Penulis akan membuat film dokumenter berjudul “Ayom” yang penulis kerjakan
bersama tim mahasiswa Prodi Penyiaran Politeknik Negeri Media Kreatif Jakarta.
Film dokumenter yang di buat penulis menggunakan tipe Expository dengan genre
potret. Dalam pembuatan karya tersebut, penulis bertindak sebagai produser.
Tujuan penulisan Tugas Akhir ini untuk menjelaskan bagaimana membuat
perencanaan produksi film dokumenter “Ayom” secara matang serta mengelola dan
mengawasi jalannya proses shooting mulai praproduksi, produksi, hingga
pascaproduksi. Tinjauan pustaka yang digunakan adalah tinjauan pustaka produser,
tinjauan pustaka film, dan tinjauan pustaka pondok pengayom satwa. Dalam tugas
akhir ini, penulis menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan menjabarkan langkahlangkah pembuatan karya, mulai dari produksi hingga pasca produksi. Penulis
memporoleh data dengan melakukan pengamatan dan mencari informasi yang
diperlukan dengan mengajukan beberapa pertanyaan kepada narasumber untuk
memperkuat informasi yang disampaikan kepada penonton. Berdasarkan
pembahasan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa film dokumenter Ayom ini memberikan
informasi kepada masyarakat untuk mengetahui apa saja fasilitas serta kegiatan
para petugas dan tim dokter hewan di pondok pengayom satwa, sehingga para
penonton tidak hanya sekadar mengetahui pondok pengayom dari sisi luar saja.

ABSTRACT
Film is a very effective documentation media for delivering messages to the
public through a media story in the form of audio visual. The author will make a
documentary film titled "Ayom" which the writer works with the student team of the
Jakarta State Polytechnic Broadcasting Creative Media Program. The
documentary made by the writer uses thetype Expository with thegenre portrait. In
making the work, the writer acts as a producer. The purpose of writing this Final
Project is to explain how to plan the production of the documentary film "Ayom"
thoroughly and manage and oversee theprocess shooting from pre-production,
production, to post-production. Literature reviews used are producer library
reviews, film library reviews, and animal shelter library library reviews. In this
thesis, the author uses a descriptive method by describing the steps of making a
work, from production to post-production. The author obtains the data by observing
and searching for the information needed by asking a number of questions to the
speakers to strengthen the information conveyed to the audience. Based on the
discussion, it can be concluded that the Ayom documentary provides information to
the public to find out what are the facilities and activities of the officers and
veterinary teams at the animal shelter, so that the audience does not just know the
shelter shelter from the outside.
