PENERAPAN TEKNIK HIGH ANGLE DI RUANG TERBATAS OLEH PENATA KAMERA PADA PROGRAM REALITY SHOW "NYERBU KAMAR"

Program reality show Nyerbu Kamar diproduksi pada ruang terbatas sehingga
memerlukan teknik pengambilan gambar yang mampu menampilkan kondisi
ruangan secara menyeluruh. Tugas akhir ini bertujuan menjelaskan penerapan
teknik high angle oleh penata kamera dalam program reality show Nyerbu Kamar.
Penulisan ini menggunakan teori sinematografi, khususnya teknik pengambilan
gambar high angle, sebagai landasan dalam menganalisis penerapan sudut
pengambilan gambar pada ruang terbatas. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode
deskriptif dengan pendekatan praktik karya melalui tahapan praproduksi, produksi,
dan pascaproduksi. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknik high
angle dengan bantuan magic arm mampu menghasilkan komposisi gambar yang
lebih luas, memperjelas informasi visual, serta mendukung penyampaian cerita
secara efektif meskipun ruang gerak kamera terbatas. Dengan demikian, teknik high
angle dapat menjadi solusi yang efektif bagi penata kamera dalam menghasilkan
visual yang informatif dan estetis pada program reality show Nyerbu Kamar.

The Nyerbu Kamar reality show is produced in confined spaces, requiring a camera
technique that can capture the entire room comprehensively. This final project aims
to explain the implementation of the high angle technique by the camera operator
in the Nyerbu Kamar reality show. This study is based on cinematography theory,
particularly the high angle camera technique, as the theoretical foundation for
analyzing the application of camera angles in confined spaces. The method
employed is a descriptive method with a practice-based approach through the
stages of pre-production, production, and post-production. The findings indicate
that the implementation of the high-angle technique, supported by the use of a
magic arm, produces a wider image composition, enhances the clarity of visual
information, and effectively supports storytelling despite the limited camera
movement within the confined space. Therefore, the high-angle technique can serve
as an effective solution for camera operators in producing informative and
aesthetically pleasing visuals in the Nyerbu Kamar reality show.
