PERANCANGANGRAFISPADASAMPULDANTATALETAK NOVELET“REUNITAKTERDUGA”

“Reuni Tak Terduga” is a mystery fiction novel that tells the story of a murder
within a circle of friends. The author will explain the graphic design process on
the cover and layout. The literature review that the author uses is Introduction to
Graphic Design, Widya and Darmawan, 2019 and Typography Techniques Kania,
2014. The literature review is used as a guide in the process of compiling covers
and layouts which are divided into seven stapes, namely, 1. Concept, 2. Media, 3.
Ideas, 4. Data Preparation and Design, 5. Revision, 6. Final Artwork, and 7.
Production. By following this process, the author hopes to create a cover that
represents the content of the story and a layout that is comfortable when read.

“Reuni Tak Terduga” adalah sebuah novel fiksi bergenre misteri yang
mengisahkan tentang pembunuhan dalam lingkaran pertemanan. Penulis akan
menjelaskan proses perancangan grafis pada sampul dan tata letak. Tinjauan
pustaka yang penulis gunakan adalah Pengantar Desain Grafis, Widya dan
Darmawan, 2019 dan Teknik Tipografi Kania, 2014. Tinjauan pustaka tersebut
penulis jadikan petunjuk dalam proses menyusun sampul dan tata letak yang
terbagi menjadi tujuh tahap yaitu, 1. Konsep, 2. Media, 3. Ide/Gagasan, 4.
Persiapan data dan Perancangan, 5. Revisi, 6. Final Artwork, dan 7. Produksi.
Dengan mengikuti proses tersebut penulis berharap dapat menciptakan sampul
yang mewakili isi cerita dan tata letak yang nyaman saat dibaca.
