UPAYA PRODUSER DALAM MENGELOLA KOMUNIKASI TIM PRODUKSI GAME SHOW ONE DAY CARE MELALUI APLIKASI DISCORD

Technological advancements have driven the evolution of program formats, which
are no longer limited to entertainment but have expanded into educational tools
relevant to family life. The author, as a producer, worked with a team to produce a
game show titled One Day Care, which focuses on bonding between fathers and
children. The purpose of this paper is to examine the producer’s strategies for
managing communication within the production team using the Discord app as a
communication platform for the One Day Care program. Producers are responsible
for coordinating the production team (Morissan, 2016: 127). As a producer, the
author uses the Discord app to coordinate the production team to ensure that team
communication remains structured. The data for this study was collected through
observation, interviews, surveys, and literature review to address the needs and
developments of the One Day Care program during its production process. The
results of this study show that the author’s involvement as a producer in optimizing
communication through the Discord app—by utilizing voice channels, text
channels, and discussion threads in a structured manner—has supported the
production team’s coordination in a more effective, efficient, and workflow-aligned
manner.

Perkembangan teknologi mendorong evolusi format program yang tidak lagi
terbatas pada fungsi hiburan, melainkan berkembang menjadi sarana edukasi yang
relevan dengan kehidupan keluarga. Penulis sebagai produser bersama tim
memproduksi program game show yang berjudul One Day Care, yang berfokus
pada kebersamaan antara ayah dan anak. Adapun tujuan penulisan ini untuk
mengetahui penerapan strategi produser dalam mengelola komunikasi tim produksi
melalui aplikasi Discord sebagai media komunikasi pada program One Day Care.
Produser memiliki tanggung jawab untuk mengoordinasikan tim produksi
(Morissan, 2016: 127). Sebagai produser penggunaan aplikasi Discord ini untuk
mengelola tim produksi agar komunikasi tim tetap terstruktur. Data penulisan ini
dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka untuk melengkapi
kebutuhan serta perkembangan program One Day Care dalam proses produksinya.
Hasil penulisan menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan penulis sebagai produser dalam
mengelola komunikasi menggunakan aplikasi Discord dengan pemanfaatan fitur
voice channel, text channel, dan thread discussion secara terstruktur. Hasil
penerapan aplikasi tersebut mendukung koordinasi tim produksi dengan lebih
efektif, efisien, dan sesuai dengan alur kerja yang telah disusun.
