PENGGUNAAN STABILIZER KAMERA DALAM MENJAGA STABILITAS FOOTAGE PADA PROGRAM REALITY SHOW TUNAS PETUALANG

Program “Tunas Petualang” adalah reality show kompetisi pramuka yang dirancang untuk menghidupkan kembali semangat kepemimpinan generasi muda di alam terbuka. Masalah dalam tugas akhir ini adalah bagaimana peran penata kamera menjaga stabilitas footage menggunakan stabilizer di medan ekstrem dan dinamis. Penulis sebagai penata kamera bertanggung jawab penuh pada aspek teknis visual dari pra-produksi hingga pasca-produksi. Penulisan ini dilatarbelakangi tantangan lapangan seperti medan tidak rata dan pergerakan cepat peserta yang berisiko menyebabkan gambar goyang. Melalui pendekatan deskriptif, penulis menggunakan metode observasi, studi pustaka, dan teknik multi-kamera. Fokus utama produksi adalah penggunaan gimbal stabilizer dan kamera GoPro untuk menangkap POV yang imersif. Program ini bertujuan menyajikan konten edukatif yang menarik bagi audiens. Hasil akhir laporan ini adalah terlaksananya program "Tunas Petualang" dengan kualitas visual yang stabil dan dinamis.

The “Tunas Petualang” program is a Scouting competition reality show designed to reignite the spirit of leadership among the younger generation in the great outdoors. The focus of this final project is how the camera operator maintains footage stability using a stabilizer in extreme and dynamic terrain. As the camera operator, the author is fully responsible for the technical and visual aspects of the project, from pre-production through post-production. This paper is motivated by on-site challenges such as uneven terrain and the rapid movements of participants, which risk causing shaky footage. Through a descriptive approach, the author employed observation, literature review, and multi-camera techniques. The primary focus of the production was the use of a gimbal stabilizer and GoPro cameras to capture an immersive point of view (POV). This program aims to present engaging educational content for the audience. The final outcome of this report is the successful implementation of the “Tunas Petualang” program with stable and dynamic visual quality.
