PERANCANGAN DESAIN SAMPUL DAN TATA LETAK BUKU ANAK ‘’MIKO DAN ILO: BELAJAR RENDAH HATI’’

''Miko and Ilo: Belajar Rendah Hati'' is a children's fiction book in the form of
fables with the theme of humility. The problem that the author to overcome is how
to design the cover design and layout for the children's book ''Miko and Ilo: Belajar
Rendah Hati''. The purpose of writing this report is to explore and explain how the
process of designing the cover design and layout of ''Miko and Ilo: Belajar Rendah
Hati'' The theories that the author uses are publishing, graphic design theory,
graphic design planning, graphic design elements, typography, color, color
characteristics, layout types, layout elements, amd design standards of childersn’s
book. The implementation method used by the author is literature study and survey.
The result this final project report is a children’s book produk entitled ‘’Miko dan
Ilo: Belajar Rendah Hati’’.

‘’Miko dan Ilo: Belajar Rendah Hati’’ adalah sebuah buku fiksi anak berbentuk
fabel dengan tema kerendahan hati. Masalah yang penulis atasi adalah bagaimana
caranya untuk merancang desain sampul dan tata letak untuk buku anak ‘’Miko dan
Ilo: Belajar Rendah Hati’’. Tujuan penulisan laporan ini adalah untuk mendalami
dan menjelaskan bagaimana proses perancangan desain sampul dan tata letak
‘’Miko dan Ilo: Belajar Rendah Hati’’. Teori yang penulis gunakan yaitu teori
penerbitan, desain grafis, perancangan desain grafis, elemen desain grafis, tipografi,
warna, karakteristik warna, tata letak, jenis tata letak, elemen tata letak dan standar
desain buku anak. Studi pustaka dan observasi adalah metode pelaksanaan yang
digunakan oleh penulis. Hasil dari penulisan laporan tugas akhir ini adalah sebuah
produk buku anak berjudul ‘’Miko dan Ilo: Belajar Rendah Hati’’.
