PERANCANGAN SAMPUL DAN TATA LETAK NASKAH NOVELET “MY PLANNED DESTINY”

“My Planned Destiny” is a romance genre novelette that became the object of the
final project of the author and the team. My Planned Destiny novelette tells the
story of a high school student and a young businessman who are involved in an
arranged marriage plan by his parents. The purpose of writing the final project is
to explain the process of designing the cover and layout of the novelette script “My
Planned Destiny”. The theory referenced is Widya and Darmawan (2016). The
method used is descriptive with data collection techniques, literature study,
observation, and survey. In the discussion, the cover design and layout are done
with 7 stages, determining the concept, media, ideas, data preparation and design,
revision, final artwork, production. The cover design and layout of the novelette
“My Planned Destiny” were completed with the printing of the dummy.

“My Planned Destiny” merupakan novelet bergenre romansa yang menjadi objek
tugas akhir penulis dan tim. Novelet My Planned Destiny menceritakan tentang
kisah seorang anak SMA dan pengusaha muda yang terlibat rencana perjodohan
oleh kedua orangtuanya. Tujuan penulisan tugas akhir untuk menjelaskan proses
perancangan sampul dan tata letak pada naskah novelet "My Planned Destiny".
Teori yang dirujuk adalah Widya dan Darmawan (2016). Metode yang digunakan
adalah deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data, studi pustaka, observasi, dan
survei. Pada pembahasannya rancangan sampul dan tata letak dikerjakan dengan 7
tahapan, menentukkan konsep, media, ide/gagasan, persiapan data dan
perancangan, revisi, final artwork, produksi. Rancangan sampul dan tata letak
novelet “My Planned Destiny” terselesaikan dengan tercetaknya dumi.
