Abstract
The rapid growth of fast-paced digital content, particularly short form video
content on social media platforms, has significantly influenced adolescents’
attention patterns and raised serious concerns regarding their ability to maintain
sustained attention during learning activities. Intensive exposure to short-duration
content encourages context switching, increases impulsivity, and weakens longterm focus, which ultimately affects academic performance among senior high
school students. Furthermore, mobile learning applications are highly vulnerable
to attentional disruption due to constant notifications and push alerts. This study
aims to design a Neurodesign-based educational website, “UNSCROLL,” as a webbased learning medium that provides a more controlled and distraction-minimized
environment to optimize adolescents’ attention span. The study employs a Research
and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE development model. Sustained
attention is objectively measured using the Sustained Attention to Response Task
(SART). The expected outcome of this research is a Neurodesign-based educational
website that integrates reinforcement mechanisms to support adolescents’ learning
focus amid the dominance of fast-paced digital content.

Perkembangan konten digital bertempo cepat, khususnya short form video content
pada platform media sosial, telah memengaruhi pola atensi remaja dan
menimbulkan tantangan serius dalam mempertahankan sustained attention selama
proses belajar. Paparan konten singkat yang intens mendorong perilaku context
switching, meningkatkan impulsivitas, serta menurunkan kemampuan fokus jangka
panjang, yang berdampak pada performa akademik siswa SMA. Di sisi lain,
penggunaan aplikasi mobile dalam pembelajaran memiliki kerentanan tinggi
terhadap distraksi akibat notifikasi dan push alerts yang memecah perhatian.
Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang website edukatif berbasis neurodesain
“UNSCROLL” sebagai media pembelajaran yang lebih terkontrol dan minim
distraksi untuk membantu mengoptimalkan rentang perhatian remaja. Metode
penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model
pengembangan ADDIE. Pengukuran kemampuan perhatian dilakukan
menggunakan Sustained Attention to Response Task (SART) untuk
merepresentasikan kondisi sustained attention secara objektif. Hasil penelitian
diharapkan menghasilkan website edukatif berbasis web yang menerapkan prinsip
neurodesain dan mekanisme penguatan guna mendukung fokus belajar remaja di
tengah dominasi konten digital cepat.
