Abstract
This study aims to design and implement a Wave Management system and
Finite State Machine (FSM)-based Enemy Behavior in the 2D Game Land of
Floria with an environmental reforestation theme using Unity Engine and the
C# programming language. The development method employed was the
Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC), consisting of initiation, pre
production, production, testing, beta, and release stages. The Wave
Management system regulates wave duration, Enemy spawning, and Game
progression through a Progress Bar, while Finite State Machine (FSM)
controls Enemy Behavior. The system was evaluated using Black Box Testing
and Beta Testing involving 28 respondents. The results showed that all Game
features functioned as expected. Beta testing produced a total score of 1,160
out of 1,400, resulting in an acceptance index of 82.86%, categorized as
Highly Accepted. The study concludes that the implementation of Wave
Management and Finite State Machine (FSM) successfully organizes Game
flow and provides a positive Gameplay experience.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem
Wave Management dan perilaku musuh berbasis Finite State Machine (FSM)
pada Game 2D Land of Floria bertema reboisasi lingkungan menggunakan
Unity Engine dan bahasa pemrograman C#. Metode pengembangan yang
digunakan adalah Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC) yang terdiri dari
tahapan initiation, pre-production, production, testing, beta, dan release.
Sistem Wave Management digunakan untuk mengatur durasi wave,
kemunculan musuh, dan perkembangan permainan melalui Progress Bar,
sedangkan Finite State Machine (FSM) diterapkan untuk mengatur perilaku
musuh. Pengujian dilakukan menggunakan Black Box Testing dan Beta
Testing terhadap 28 responden menggunakan skala Likert. Hasil pengujian
menunjukkan bahwa seluruh fitur Game berjalan sesuai dengan fungsinya.
Berdasarkan hasil Beta Testing, diperoleh total skor sebesar 1.160 dari nilai
maksimal 1.400 dengan Indeks Penerimaan sebesar 82,86%, sehingga
termasuk dalam kategori Sangat Diterima. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan
bahwa implementasi Wave Management dan Finite State Machine (FSM)
mampu mengatur alur permainan secara terstruktur dan memberikan
pengalaman bermain yang baik.
