PERAN PENATA ARTISTIK PADA PENERAPAN METODE SPATIAL ARRANGEMENT DALAM MENGATASI PENATAAN RUANG PROGRAM LIVE MUSIK SESSIONATE

The art director plays a crucial role in overcoming production space limitations to ensure that both artistic and technical requirements are effectively accommodated. The production area of Sessionatte is constrained by the presence of permanent fixtures, making efficient spatial organization essential. This study aims to explain the role of the art director in applying the spatial arrangement method to optimize the production space of Sessionatte. The method employed is spatial arrangement, an approach to spatial planning that focuses on organizing the relationships among elements within a space based on their functions, production activities, and technical requirements. The planning stage focuses on developing a spatial arrangement concept, the implementation stage involves applying the concept to the production space, and the evaluation stage assesses its effectiveness in meeting the artistic and technical needs of the program. The findings indicate that the application of the spatial arrangement method successfully optimizes the use of the limited production space without altering the existing permanent fixtures while producing an effective artistic layout that reinforces the visual identity of the Sessionatte program.

Penata artistik memiliki peran penting dalam mengatasi keterbatasan ruang produksi agar kebutuhan artistik dan teknis dapat terpenuhi secara bersamaan. Program Sessionatte memiliki area produksi terbatas akibat keberadaan properti permanen sehingga diperlukan penataan ruang yang efektif. Penulisan ini bertujuan menjelaskan peran penata artistik dalam menerapkan metode spatial arrangement untuk mengoptimalkan penataan ruang pada program Sessionatte. Metode yang digunakan adalah spatial arrangement, yaitu metode penataan ruang yang berfokus pada pengorganisasian hubungan antar elemen dalam ruang berdasarkan fungsi, aktivitas, dan kebutuhan produksi. Tahap perencanaan difokuskan pada penyusunan konsep spatial arrangement, tahap pelaksanaan berupa penerapan konsep pada penataan ruang produksi, sedangkan tahap evaluasi dilakukan untuk mengetahui efektivitas hasil penerapan terhadap kebutuhan artistik dan teknis program. Dengan hasil akhir penerapan metode spatial arrangement mampu mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan ruang produksi yang terbatas tanpa mengubah elemen permanen serta menghasilkan tata artistik yang efektif dan mendukung identitas visual program Sessionatte.
