PENGEMBANGAN APLIKASI PRESENSI KARYAWAN BERBASIS LOKASI DAN FOTO SWAFOTO MENGGUNAKAN FRAMEWORK LARAVEL UNTUK PT LENSA GARUDA MEDIA

Employee attendance management is a crucial part of corporate administration. However, the use of conventional attendance methods still poses challenges in the process of recording and monitoring employee attendance. This study aims to develop a web-based Digital Attendance application using the Laravel framework that incorporates Global Positioning System (GPS)-based location tracking and selfies as tools for digitally managing and monitoring employee attendance. The study employed a descriptive quantitative approach using the Waterfall system development method, which consists of the requirements analysis, design, implementation, and testing phases. The resulting system provides features for clocking in and out, GPS-based location tracking, selfies, leave requests, attendance monitoring, employee data management, and attendance reports. The results of Black Box Testing showed that all application features functioned in accordance with system requirements. Additionally, the results of User Acceptance Testing (UAT), which involved 12 respondents, yielded a score of 546 out of a maximum of 600—or 91%—falling into the “Highly Acceptable” category. Based on these test results, the developed Digital Attendance application is deemed suitable for use and capable of supporting the digital management and monitoring of employee attendance at PT Lensa Garuda Media.

Pengelolaan kehadiran karyawan menjadi bagian penting dalam administrasi perusahaan. Namun, penggunaan metode presensi konvensional masih menimbulkan kendala dalam proses pencatatan dan pemantauan kehadiran karyawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan aplikasi Presensi Digital berbasis web menggunakan framework Laravel yang menerapkan pencatatan lokasi berbasis Global Positioning System (GPS) dan foto swafoto (selfie) sebagai sarana pengelolaan serta pemantauan kehadiran karyawan secara digital. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan metode pengembangan sistem Waterfall yang terdiri atas tahap analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi, dan pengujian. Sistem yang dihasilkan menyediakan fitur presensi masuk dan pulang, pencatatan lokasi berbasis GPS, foto swafoto, pengajuan izin, monitoring presensi, pengelolaan data karyawan, serta laporan presensi. Hasil Black Box Testing menunjukkan bahwa seluruh fitur aplikasi berjalan sesuai dengan kebutuhan sistem. Selain itu, hasil User Acceptance Testing (UAT) yang melibatkan 12 responden memperoleh skor 546 dari skor maksimum 600 atau sebesar 91% dengan kategori Sangat Layak. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian tersebut, aplikasi Presensi Digital yang dikembangkan dinyatakan layak digunakan serta mampu mendukung proses pengelolaan dan pemantauan kehadiran karyawan secara digital di PT Lensa Garuda Media.
