Abstract
ABSTRACT
An e-commerce website requires a well-designed User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) to ensure ease of use and provide a better user experience. The Boonaboo e-commerce website experienced several issues related to website performance, navigation, and interface design. The initial evaluation using the System usability scale (SUS) produced an average score of 47.75, indicating that the website had a low level of usability and still required improvements. This study aimed to redesign the User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) of the Boonaboo website using the User Centered Design (UCD) method. The redesigned website was evaluated using Google Lighthouse and the System usability scale (SUS) involving 20 respondents. The results showed that the Google Lighthouse Performance score increased from 41 to 84 on mobile devices and from 76 to 99 on desktop devices. Furthermore, the average SUS score increased from 47.75 to 87.75, changing the usability rating from Not Acceptable (Grade F – Poor) to Acceptable (Grade A – Excellent). These findings indicate that the redesign successfully improved website performance, usability, and user experience.

Website e-commerce memerlukan User Interface (UI) dan User Experience (UX) yang baik agar mudah digunakan serta memberikan pengalaman yang lebih baik bagi pengguna. Website Boonaboo masih memiliki beberapa permasalahan pada aspek performa, navigasi, dan tampilan antarmuka yang memengaruhi tingkat usability website. Hasil evaluasi awal menggunakan System usability scale (SUS) menunjukkan nilai rata-rata sebesar 47,75, yang termasuk dalam kategori Not Acceptable, sehingga website masih memerlukan perbaikan pada berbagai aspek usability. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang ulang User Interface (UI) dan User Experience (UX) website Boonaboo menggunakan metode User Centered Design (UCD). Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan Google Lighthouse dan System usability scale (SUS) terhadap 20 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa skor Google Lighthouse Performance meningkat dari 41 menjadi 84 pada perangkat mobile dan dari 76 menjadi 99 pada perangkat desktop. Selain itu, nilai rata-rata System usability scale (SUS) meningkat dari 47,75 menjadi 87,75, sehingga kategori usability berubah dari Not Acceptable (Grade F – Poor) menjadi Acceptable (Grade A - Excellent). Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa perancangan ulang yang dilakukan berhasil meningkatkan performa website, usability, dan pengalaman pengguna.
