PERAN PENATA KAMERA DALAM PENERAPAN TEKNIK CLOSE UP SEBAGAI PENDEKATAN VISUAL PADA PROGRAM INSTRUKSIONAL “BEHIND THE SPORT”

ABSTRAK

Program instruksional memerlukan penyajian visual yang jelas agar informasi dapat dipahami dengan baik oleh penonton. Oleh karena itu, penulisan ini membahas peran penata kamera dalam menerapkan teknik close up sebagai pendekatan visual pada Program Instruksional Behind The Sport. Tujuannya adalah menjelaskan penerapan teknik close up untuk menghasilkan tayangan yang informatif, edukatif, dan menarik.Penulisan ini menggunakan teori mengenai penata kamera, shot size (close up), camera angle, dan camera movement dengan metode pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka. Penulis melaksanakan tahapan pra produksi melalui analisis naskah, hunting lokasi, dan penyusunan photoboard; tahap produksi melalui pengoperasian kamera dan pengambilan gambar sesuai konsep visual; serta tahap pascaproduksi dengan mengevaluasi hasil rekaman dan menyerahkan footage kepada editor.
Hasil penulisan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknik close up mampu memperjelas detail gerakan dan informasi yang disampaikan, sehingga meningkatkan kualitas visual serta efektivitas penyampaian materi pada Program Instruksional Behind The Sport.

ABSTRAC

Instructional programs require clear visual presentations to ensure that information is easily understood by the audience. Therefore, this final project discusses the role of the camera operator in applying the close-up technique as a visual approach in the instructional program Behind The Sport. The purpose of this study is to explain the implementation of the close-up technique in producing informative, educational, and engaging visual content.This study is based on theories of the camera operator, shot size (close-up), camera angle, and camera movement, with data collected through observation, interviews, and literature review. During the pre-production stage, the author analyzed the script, conducted location scouting, and prepared a photoboard. During the production stage, the author operated the camera and captured footage based on the visual concept. In the post-production stage, the author reviewed the recorded footage and submitted it to the editor for the editing process.The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the close-up technique effectively highlights movement details and important information, thereby improving the visual quality and the effectiveness of information delivery in the instructional program Behind The Sport.
