Abstract
ABSTRACT
Digital technology demands the early introduction of computational thinking (CT) concepts, yet existing mechanics often overload children's cognitive capacity. This research implements a visual scripting method using a Click-to-Append interface architecture in the educational game Murtado: Code Sang Macan to teach basic programming logic to elementary school students. The software development applies the Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC) methodology, covering six phases: initiation, pre-production, production, alpha testing, beta testing, and release. Technically, the system is programmed in the Unity engine, integrating Command Queue architecture and Coroutines to control 2D grid matrix movements sequentially. A runtime validation mechanism is also applied, requiring the character to physically validate obstacles to prevent logic errors. Alpha testing verified that all algorithms, visual script synchronization, and system stability functioned seamlessly across various devices. Following alpha testing, the game was tested on-site with students from Tunas Bangsa Christian School Cakung using a Likert scale. Beta testing produced a technical feasibility score of 82.25%.

ABSTRAK
Teknologi digital menuntut pengenalan konsep computational thinking (CT) sejak dini, namun mekanika yang ada kerap membebani kognitif anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengimplementasikan metode visual scripting dengan arsitektur antarmuka Click-to-Append pada game edukasi Murtado: Code Sang Macan untuk mengajarkan logika dasar pemrograman bagi siswa sekolah dasar. Pengembangan perangkat lunak menggunakan metode Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC), yang mencakup fase inisiasi, pra-produksi, produksi, uji alpha, uji beta, dan rilis. Secara teknis, sistem diprogram dalam mesin Unity dengan memadukan arsitektur Command Queue dan Coroutine untuk mengendalikan pergerakan matriks grid 2D secara sekuensial. Mekanisme runtime validation juga diterapkan agar karakter memvalidasi rintangan secara fisik guna mencegah logic error. Uji alpha memverifikasi bahwa seluruh algoritma, sinkronisasi visual script, dan stabilitas sistem berjalan tanpa kendala di berbagai perangkat. Setelah lulus uji alpha, game diuji coba langsung kepada siswa Tunas Bangsa Christian School Cakung menggunakan skala Likert. Pengujian beta ini menghasilkan skor kelayakan teknis sebesar 82,25%..
