PENULISAN NASKAH NOVELET "INFINITY" SEBAGAI REPRESENTASI TRAUMA PERCERAIAN DAN KESEPIAN DALAM BINGKAI CONTEMPORARY ROMANCE

ABSTRAK
Trauma perceraian dan kesepian merupakan masalah psikologis yang banyak dialami Generasi Z serta memengaruhi pembentukan identitas dan relasi interpersonal. Namun, isu ini masih jarang diangkat secara mendalam dalam fiksi romansa Indonesia. Tugas akhir ini bertujuan menjelaskan proses penulisan novelet Infinity sebagai representasi trauma perceraian dan kesepian dalam bingkai contemporary romance. Penulisan menggunakan teori proses kreatif Wallas yang meliputi tahap persiapan, inkubasi, iluminasi, dan verifikasi, serta dilaksanakan melalui tahap praproduksi, produksi, dan pascaproduksi. Hasilnya berupa novelet Infinity sepanjang 20.761 kata yang mengisahkan Adifa Maheswari dan Satu Rasendriya dalam menghadapi trauma keluarga, kesepian, dan proses pendewasaan diri. Trauma perceraian dan kesepian direpresentasikan melalui pengembangan karakter, konflik psikologis, dan relasi romantis sebagai katalis pemulihan emosional. Karya ini diharapkan menjadi bacaan reflektif bagi remaja dan dewasa muda serta memperkaya khazanah contemporary romance bertema psikologis.

ABSTRACT
The trauma of divorce and loneliness are psychological issues frequently experienced by Generation Z, influencing both identity formation and interpersonal relationships. However, these issues are rarely explored in depth within Indonesian romance fiction. This final project aims to describe the writing process of the novelette Infinity, which portrays the trauma of divorce and loneliness within the framework of contemporary romance. The writing process employed Wallas’s creative process theory encompassing the stages of preparation, incubation, illumination, and verification and was executed through pre-production, production, and post-production phases. The project resulted in a 20,761-word novelette, Infinity, which follows the stories of Adifa Maheswari and Satu Rasendriya as they navigate family trauma, loneliness, and the journey toward personal maturity. The themes of divorce trauma and loneliness are represented through character development, psychological conflict, and romantic relationships that serve as catalysts for emotional healing. This work is intended to offer a reflective reading experience for adolescents and young adults while enriching the landscape of psychologically themed contemporary romance.
