BUDIDAYA LEBAH TRIGONA DI BOGOR DALAM FOTOGRAFI CERITA

Trigona bees, a type of social bee in tropical regions, live in organized colonies
and are influenced by environmental factors. In South Bogor Regency, there is
cultivation of Trigona bees. Trigona bees produce honey which tends to be sour
with a water content of 30-35%. Successful cultivation depends on food intake,
location, strong nests, and protection from pests. The lack of information makes
people less familiar with Trigona bees. As a solution, the author plans journalistic
photography with a photo story approach to introduce Trigona bee cultivation
visually and informatively.

Lebah Trigona, jenis lebah sosial di wilayah tropis, hidup dalam koloni
terorganisasi dan dipengaruhi oleh faktor lingkungan. Di Kabupaten Bogor Selatan,
terdapat budidaya lebah Trigona, Lebah Trigona menghasilkan madu yang
cenderung asam dengan kadar air 30-35%. Keberhasilan budidaya tergantung pada
asupan makanan, lokasi, sarang kuat, dan perlindungan dari hama. Minimnya
informasi membuat masyarakat kurang mengenal lebah Trigona. Sebagai solusi,
penulis merencanakan fotografi jurnalistik dengan pendekatan foto cerita untuk
memperkenalkan budidaya lebah Trigona secara visual dan informatif.
