PENERAPAN MULTI CAMERA PADA PENGAMBILAN GAMBAR SAAT DIALOG PADA PROGRAM “TAKHAYUL”

ABSTRACT
The comedy series Takhayul is an audiovisual work in the supernatural genre that explores the phenomenon of public belief in superstitions and mystical phenomena. In the production of this series, the author served as the cinematographer, responsible for designing the visual concept, determining shooting techniques, and coordinating the cinematography throughout the production process. The main challenge faced was the limited shooting time for dialogue scenes that required various camera angles and reverse shots. To address this issue, the author employed a multi-camera technique so that multiple camera angles could be recorded simultaneously in a single take. The implementation of this technique began during the pre-production phase, which involved creating a shot list, photoboard, and floor plan, as well as selecting equipment, followed by the production phase, which involved coordinating camera operators, setting uplighting, and executing the filming in accordance with the pre-designed visual concepts. The results of applying the multi-camera technique show that the production process became more efficient, reducing the need for retakes, maintaining visual continuity, and preserving the actors’ natural expressions and reactions, thereby ensuring that the program’s comedic elements and message are conveyed more effectively.

ABSTRAK
Program Situasi komedi Takhayul merupakan karya audio visual bergenre supranaturalyang mengangkat fenomena kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap takhayul dan hal hal mistis. Dalam produksi program ini, penulis berperan sebagai penata kamera yang bertanggung jawab merancang konsep visual, menentukan teknik pengambilan gambar, serta mengkoordinasikan pelaksanaan sinematografi selama proses produksi. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi adalah keterbatasan waktu pengambilan gambar pada adegan dialog yang membutuhkan berbagai sudut pandang dan reverse shot. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, penulis menerapkan teknik multi camera sehingga beberapa sudut pengambilan gambar dapat direkam secara bersamaan dalam satu kali take. Penerapan teknik ini dilakukan melalui tahapan pra produksi berupa penyusunan shot list, photoboard, floorplan, dan pemilihan peralatan, kemudian dilanjutkan pada tahap produksi dengan koordinasi operator kamera, penataan cahaya, serta pelaksanaan pengambilan gambar sesuai konsep, visual yang telah dirancang. Hasil penerapan teknik multi camera menunjukkan bahwa proses produksi menjadi lebih efisien, mampu mengurangi pengulangan adegan, menjaga kontiunitas visual, serta mempertahankan ekspresi dan reaksi alami para pemeran sehingga unsur komedi dan pesan program dapat tersampaikan secara lebih efektif.
