Penerapan teknik Direct Adress oleh program director pada program situasi komedi "Searching for Love"

ABSTRACT Situation comedy programs are a form of audiovisual entertainment that relies not only on script strength and acting but also requires mature directorial guidance to deliver humor effectively. In the production of the situation comedy program Searching for Love, the author served as the Program Director, focusing on implementing the breaking the fourth wall technique as a directorial approach to build a direct interaction between characters and the audience. The purpose of this final project is to explain the application process of the breaking the fourth wall technique in supporting storytelling and strengthening audience engagement in situation comedy programs. ABSTRAK Program situasi komedi merupakan salah satu bentuk hiburan audiovisual yang tidak hanya mengandalkan kekuatan naskah dan akting, tetapi juga memerlukan arahan penyutradaraan yang matang untuk menyampaikan humor secara efektif. Pada produksi program situasi komedi Searching for Love, penulis berperan sebagai Program Director dengan fokus menerapkan teknik breaking the fourth wall sebagai pendekatan pengarahan untuk membangun interaksi langsung antara karakter dan penonton. Tujuan penulisan karya tugas akhir ini adalah menjelaskan proses penerapan teknik breaking the fourth wall dalam mendukung penyampaian cerita dan memperkuat keterlibatan audiens pada program situasi komedi.
