PERANCANGAN BUKU PROFIL TK PERTIWI V PMD PASAR MINGGU JAKARTA SELATAN SEBAGAI MEDIA PROMOSI

ABSTRACT
A profile book is a document that presents structured information regarding the general description, data, identity, background, and achievements of an institution or individual. It aims to increase credibility, provide supporting data, and document the history or development of related parties. Because of this, a profile book is very important to have for various organizations in all fields, one of which is in the field of education. This final project raises the creation of a profile book for Pertiwi V PMD kindergarten school, a school located in Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta. Through a simple yet professional design approach, the purpose of this final project is as a means of education and information, in order to provide important data and experiences that have been obtained by Pertiwi V PMD kindergarten school. In the implementation method, the author has carried out several work steps, such as data collection, pre-production, production process, and post-production. The benefits of the final results that have gone through a series of processes are as a promotional tool to strengthen the competitiveness of Pertiwi V PMD Kindergarten, increase the level of trust in the institution, and give the impression that the kindergarten is reliable for parents of prospective students of this kindergarten. Pertiwi V PMD Kindergarten really needs adequate promotional media, because good promotional media is very important for the long-term sustainability of the institution.

ABSTRAK
Buku profil adalah sebuah dokumen yang menyajikan informasi terstruktur mengenai gambaran umum, data, identitas, latar belakang, serta pencapaian suatu lembaga atau individu. Bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kredibilitas, menyediakan data pendukung, dan mendokumentasikan sejarah atau perkembangan dari pihak terkait. Karena hal tersebut, buku profil menjadi sangat penting untuk dimiliki oleh berbagai organisasi pada semua bidang, salah satunya pada bidang pendidikan. Tugas akhir ini mengangkat pembuatan buku profil untuk TK Pertiwi V PMD, sebuah sekolah yang berlokasi di Pasar Minggu, Jakarta Selatan. Melalui pendekatan desain sederhana namun tetap profesional, tujuan karya tugas akhir ini yaitu sebagai sarana edukasi dan informasi, guna memberikan data-data penting serta pengalaman yang telah diperoleh TK Pertiwi V PMD. Pada metode pelaksanaan, penulis telah melakukan beberapa langkah kerja, seperti pengumpulan data, praproduksi, proses produksi, dan pascaproduksi. Manfaat dari hasil akhir yang sudah melalui serangkaian proses tersebut yaitu sebagai sarana promosi untuk menguatkan daya saing TK Pertiwi V PMD, meningkatkan tingkat kepercayaan terhadap instansi, dan memberikan kesan bahwa TK tersebut dapat diandalkan bagi orang tua calon peserta didik TK ini. TK Pertiwi V PMD sangat membutuhkan media promosi yang memadai, karena media promosi yang baik sangat menentukan keberlangsungan jangka panjang dari instansi tersebut.
