PENERAPAN TEKNIK MULTICAMERA OLEH PROGRAM DIRECTOR PADA PROGRAM TALKSHOW “PANGGUNG RAKYAT”

ABSTRACK

Panggung Rakyat is a talk show program that discusses political issues by involving a host, guest speaker, and audience in an interactive discussion. To support effective information delivery and create a more dynamic presentation, the Program Director applied the multicamera technique throughout the production process. This final project aims to describe the implementation of the multicamera technique by the Program Director in the Panggung Rakyat talk show, covering the pre-production, production, and post-production stages. The study employed a descriptive method with data collected through observation, literature review, and documentation. The results indicate that the implementation of the multicamera technique provides various camera angles, maintains visual continuity, and captures important moments during the discussion. In addition, the use of multiple cameras enables the Program Director to coordinate image switching more effectively, resulting in a more dynamic and communicative program.

ABSTRAK

Program Panggung Rakyat merupakan program talkshow yang mengangkat isu politik dengan menghadirkan narasumber, host, dan audiens dalam satu forum diskusi yang interaktif. Untuk mendukung penyampaian informasi secara menarik dan menjaga dinamika jalannya diskusi, Program Director menerapkan teknik multicamera selama proses produksi. Tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan teknik multicamera oleh Program Director pada program talkshow Panggung Rakyat, mulai dari tahap pra-produksi, produksi, hingga pascaproduksi. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, studi pustaka, dan dokumentasi. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknik multicamera mampu menghasilkan variasi sudut pengambilan gambar, menjaga kesinambungan visual, serta menangkap setiap momen penting selama diskusi berlangsung. Selain itu, penggunaan beberapa kamera memudahkan Program Director dalam mengoordinasikan perpindahan gambar (switching) sehingga tayangan terlihat lebih dinamis dan komunikatif.
