TROUBLESHOOTING PADA BEARING MOTOR HOPPER MESIN BLOWN FILM 2 REIFENHAUSER PT INDOFOOD DIVISI PACKAGING

Bearings have an important role in the rotation system and have an influence on a
motor. Bearing damage can hinder production. This final assignment study aims to
determine and overcome the problem of bearing damage to the hopper motor of the
blown film machine belonging to PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (packaging
division) using the fishbone diagram method and to overcome damage by carrying
out preventive and corrective maintenance. The findings of the types of bearing
damage to the hopper after observing were 4 types of damage, namely, broken,
jammed, squeaky, and dented seal. The cause of bearing damage to hopper motors
occurs due to lack of regular preventive maintenance and replacing the wrong
bearings.

Bearing memiliki peranan yang penting dalam sistemasi rotasi dan memiliki
pengaruh pada suatu motor. Kerusakan bearing dapat menghambat jalannya
produksi. Kajian tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mengatasi masalah
kerusakan bearing pada motor hopper mesin blown film milik PT Indofood CBP
Sukses Makmur Tbk (packaging division) dengan menggunakan metode diagram
fishbone serta mengatasi kerusakan dengan melakukan perawatan preventive dan
corrective. Temuan jenis kerusakan bearing pada hopper setelah melakukan
observasi ada sebanyak 4 jenis kerusakan yaitu, oblak, macet, berdecit, dan seal
penyok. Penyebab kerusakan bearing pada motor hopper tersebut terjadi karena
kurangnya dilakukan perawatan preventive secara teratur dan melakukan
pergantian bearing yang salah.
