PEMANFAATAN APLIKASI DISCORD SEBAGAI MEDIA KOMUNIKASI OLEH PRODUSER PADA TAHAPAN PRA PRODUKSI DAN PASCA PRODUKSI PROGRAM VARIETY SHOW "CERITA DARI KAMPUNG"

Produksi program variety show memerlukan komunikasi dan koordinasi yang efektif agar setiap tahapan produksi berjalan sesuai perencanaan. Dalam produksi program Cerita Dari Kampung, penulis berperan sebagai produser yang bertanggung jawab mengelola komunikasi tim pada tahap pra produksi dan pascaproduksi melalui aplikasi Discord. Penulisan ini bertujuan menjelaskan pemanfaatan Discord sebagai media komunikasi untuk mendukung kelancaran proses produksi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, studi pustaka, dan penyebaran kuesioner kepada 70 responden untuk mengetahui minat penonton terhadap konsep program. Hasil penulisan menunjukkan bahwa fitur text Channel , voice Channel , screen sharing, file sharing, dan event scheduling pada Discord mempermudah koordinasi, penyampaian informasi, pembagian tugas, serta evaluasi produksi. Selain itu, hasil kuesioner menunjukkan mayoritas responden memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap konsep program. Dengan demikian, pemanfaatan Discord mampu meningkatkan efektivitas komunikasi dan koordinasi tim sehingga proses produksi program berlangsung lebih terstruktur, efisien, dan sesuai dengan konsep yang telah dirancang.

The production of a variety show requires effective communication and coordination to ensure that every stage of the production process runs according to plan. In the production of the Cerita Dari Kampung program, the author served as the producer responsible for managing team communication during the pre-production and post-production stages through the Discord application. This final project aims to describe the use of Discord as a communication platform to support the production process. Data were collected through observation, interviews, literature review, and questionnaires distributed to 70 respondents to identify audience interest in the program concept. The results show that Discord's text Channel , voice Channel , screen sharing, file sharing, and event scheduling features facilitated team coordination, information sharing, task distribution, and production evaluation. In addition, the questionnaire results indicated that most respondents showed positive interest in the program concept. Therefore, the use of Discord improved communication and team coordination, enabling the production process to be more organized, efficient, and aligned with the planned concept.
