PERAN PROGRAM DIRECTOR DALAM MENERAPKAN TEKNIK VISUAL EMPHASIS PADA PROGRAM FEATURE “PARENTING STYLE”

Program Feature Parenting Style membahas dinamika komunikasi keluarga dan fenomena kenakalan remaja, khususnya masalah merokok pada usia muda. Tayangan ini bertujuan mengedukasi masyarakat tentang pentingnya pola asuh dan dialog yang sehat. Dalam produksi ini, penulis berperan sebagai Program Director yang bertanggung jawab penuh atas kualitas penceritaan visual secara keseluruhan. Untuk membangun kedekatan emosional tanpa mendramatisasi realitas, Program Director menerapkan Teknik Visual Emphasis sebagai pendekatan utama. Strategi ini secara spesifik dieksekusi melalui penerapan komposisi Rule of Third dan teknik pengambilan gambar Close Up. Penggunaan komposisi tersebut berfungsi untuk menonjolkan mikro-ekspresi wajah, bahasa tubuh, serta memvisualisasikan hambatan komunikasi anggota keluarga dengan memanfaatkan ruang kosong (negative space). Karya ini dirancang menggunakan metode observasional, mengumpulkan data melalui kuesioner, observasi lapangan, serta wawancara mendalam dengan orang tua, remaja, dan psikolog. Hasil akhir produksi menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Teknik Visual Emphasis menggunakan Rule of Third dan Close Up pada program Feature ini sukses memvisualisasikan jarak psikologis keluarga. Pendekatan visual tersebut berhasil menerjemahkan interaksi nyata menjadi narasi yang memikat, mampu menggugah empati penonton, sekaligus menyampaikan pesan edukatif utama secara jelas.

The Parenting Style Feature program explores family communication dynamics and the phenomenon of juvenile delinquency, specifically teenage smoking. This broadcast aims to educate the public on the importance of parenting styles and healthy dialogue. In this production, the author acted as the Program Director, holding full responsibility for the quality of visual storytelling. To build a strong emotional connection without over-dramatizing reality, the Program Director applied the Teknik Visual Emphasis as the primary approach. This strategy was executed specifically through the implementation of the Rule of Third composition and the Close Up shooting technique. The use of this composition serves to highlight facial micro-expressions, body language, and visualize communication barriers among family members by utilizing negative space. This project was designed using an observational method, gathering data through questionnaires, field observations, and in-depth interviews with parents, teenagers, and psychologists. The final production result demonstrates that the application of Teknik Visual Emphasis using the Rule of Third and Close Up on this Feature program successfully visualized the psychological distance within the family. This visual approach effectively translated real interactions into a compelling narrative, evoking audience empathy while clearly conveying the core educational message.
