PERAN PENULIS NASKAH DALAM MENERAPKAN METODE STRUKTUR TIGA BABAK PADA PENYUSUNAN NASKAH PROGRAM LIVE PERTUNJUKAN SENDRATARI “RUKESTRA BUDAYA”

Perkembangan era globalisasi saat ini, semakin menekan proses akulturasi budaya, seperti pengaruh kehadiran budaya Barat yang seakan mendominasi dan cenderung menjadi trend-center masyarakat. Hal itulah yang mendasari program “Rukestra Budaya” yang berformat Live untuk menampilkan pertunjukan sendratari yang lebih modern dan tetap mempertahankan nilai inspiratif dan edukatif, dengan mendekatkan dan memperkenalkan kembali budaya Indonesia kepada generasi muda. Laporan tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk membahas peran penulis naskah dalam mengembangkan ide serta menyusun naskah satu kolom, dengan menggunakan metode Struktur Tiga Babak. Penulis naskah merupakan seseorang yang memiliki kemampuan dalam menyusun skenario atau naskah serta berperan sebagai pihak pertama yang menuangkan gagasan atau ide cerita untuk disampaikan kepada produser dan sutradara (Mabruri, 2018, hal. 47). Penulisan ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa Observasi, Wawancara, Penyebaran Kuesioner dan Studi Pustaka guna memperoleh informasi dan menjadi referensi penulis dalam menyusun naskah dalam pertunjukan. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode Struktur Tiga Babak membantu penulis dalam mengolah ide menjadi memiliki alur cerita lebih runtut serta sesuai dengan konsep pertunjukan. Melalui karya ini, penulis menunjukkan bahwa penulis naskah memiliki peran penting dalam menyusun alur cerita yang menjadi pedoman bagi host, pengisi acara, dan tim produksi selama proses pertunjukan berlangsung.

The current era of globalization is increasingly driving the process of cultural acculturation, such as the influence of Western culture, which seems to dominate and tends to become the trend-setter in society. This is the basis for the “Rukestra Budaya” program, presented in a live format to showcase more modern dance-drama performances while maintaining their inspirational and educational value, by bringing Indonesian culture closer to and reintroducing it to the younger generation. This final project report aims to discuss the role of the screenwriter in developing ideas and writing a single-column screenplay using the Three-Act Structure method. A screenwriter is someone who has the ability to write screenplays or scripts and serves as the first person to articulate story concepts or ideas to be presented to producers and directors (Mabruri, 2018, p. 47). This study employs data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, questionnaire distribution, and literature review to gather information and serve as a reference for the author in crafting the script for the performance. The results show that applying the Three-Act Structure method helps the writer develop ideas and compose a script with a more coherent storyline that aligns with the performance’s concept. Through this work, the author demonstrates that the scriptwriter plays a crucial role in crafting the storyline, which serves as a guide for the host, performers, and production team throughout the performance.
