PENULISAN NASKAH NOVEL "ATTACHED" BERTEMA HUBUNGAN TANPA STATUS DAN KONFLIK EMOSIONAL

This final project is titled Attached, a fiction novel that explores the theme of situationships and emotional conflicts experienced by adolescents and adults. The writing of this novel was motivated by the increasing prevalence of situationships, which can affect an individual's emotional condition. The purpose of this final project is to describe the creative process in writing the manuscript of the novel Attached. Based on Trim's theory of creative writing, the creative process was carried out through five stages, namely idea discovery, pre-writing, drafting, revising, and self-editing. The methods employed include literature review and interviews. These five stages were applied starting from idea discovery through personal experience, friends' stories, interviews, as well as film and music references, followed by the design of theme, characters, setting, and point of view at the pre-writing stage. The manuscript was then written at the drafting stage, revised in terms of setting, conflict, and characters, and adjusted in dialogue diction at the self-editing stage. The result of this final project is the manuscript of the novel Attached, which tells the journey of Aruna Shinara Prameswari in facing a situationship and emotional conflict. This novel demonstrates that fiction can serve as a medium for reflection, raising awareness of the importance of clarity in building relationships.

Tugas akhir ini berjudul Attached, sebuah novel fiksi yang mengangkat tema hubungan tanpa status dan konflik emosional pada remaja dan dewasa. Penulisan novel ini dilatarbelakangi oleh meningkatnya hubungan tanpa status yang dapat mempengaruhi kondisi emosional seseorang. Tujuan penulisan tugas akhir ini adalah mendeskripsikan proses kreatif dalam penulisan naskah novel Attached. Berdasarkan teori penulisan kreatif Trim, proses penciptaan karya dilakukan melalui lima tahap, yaitu penemuan ide, pramenulis, menulis draft, merevisi draft, dan swasunting. Metode yang digunakan meliputi studi pustaka dan wawancara. Kelima tahapan tersebut diterapkan mulai dari penggalian ide melalui pengalaman pribadi, cerita teman, wawancara, serta referensi film dan musik, dilanjutkan perancangan tema, tokoh, latar, dan sudut pandang pada tahap pramenulis. Naskah kemudian ditulis pada tahap draf, direvisi dari segi setting, konflik, dan tokoh, hingga disesuaikan diksi dialognya pada tahap swasunting. Hasil tugas akhir ini berupa naskah novel Attached yang menceritakan perjalanan Aruna Shinara Prameswari dalam menghadapi hubungan tanpa status dan konflik emosional. Novel ini menunjukkan bahwa karya fiksi dapat menjadi media refleksi yang meningkatkan kesadaran akan pentingnya dalam menjalin hubungan.
