PENERAPAN STANDAR OPERASIONAL PROSEDUR (SOP) CUEING PROGRAM “JEJAK FLONA”

Produksi program televisi berbasis live multicamera membutuhkan sistem komunikasi dan koordinasi yang efektif agar seluruh elemen produksi dapat berjalan secara sinkron. Salah satu bentuk komunikasi utama dalam produksi televisi adalah cueing yang dilakukan oleh program director kepada kru produksi, floor director, dan talent. Namun, proses cueing yang belum terstandarisasi berpotensi menimbulkan miskomunikasi dan menghambat kelancaran produksi. Tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) cueing oleh program director pada program variety show edukatif anak Jejak Flona. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka. Hasil penulisan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan SOP cueing dilakukan melalui tahap pra produksi, produksi, dan pascaproduksi. Pada tahap pra produksi dilakukan penyusunan cue sheet, standarisasi word cues, dan briefing kru. Pada tahap produksi, program director memberikan instruksi verbal kepada kru teknis dan floor director, sedangkan floor director meneruskan instruksi kepada talent melalui hand cues dan body cues. Tahap pascaproduksi dilakukan melalui evaluasi pelaksanaan cueing dan identifikasi kendala produksi. Penerapan SOP cueing mampu meningkatkan koordinasi antar kru, meminimalkan kesalahan komunikasi, serta mendukung kelancaran produksi program Jejak Flona.

The production of live multicamera television program require effective communication and coordination to ensure all production element operate synchronously. One of the main communication methods in television production is cueing, performed by the program director for the production crew, floor director, and talents. However, the absence of standardized procedures may lead to miscommunication and production delays. This final project aims to examine the implementation of the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for cueing by the program director in the children's educational variety show Jejak Flona. The data collected through observation, interviews, and literature review. The results show implementation of the cueing SOP consists of pre-production, production, and post-production stages. Pre-production includes preparing cue sheets, standardizing word cues, and conducting crew briefings. During production, the program director delivers verbal instructions to the technical crew and floor director, while the floor director communicates with talents through hand cues and body cues. Post-production involves evaluating the cueing process and identified production obstacles. The implementation of the cueing SOP improves crew coordination, minimizes communication errors, and supports the smooth production process of Jejak Flona.
