PERAN PRODUSER DALAM MENGATUR PROSES PRODUKSI PROGRAM RADIO PODCAST BERJUDUL “QUARTER LIFE CRISIS: TALK OVER 20S”

ABSTRACT

This study discusses the role of the producer in managing the production process of the radio podcast program Quarter Life Crisis: Talk Over 20S. The podcast focuses on issues commonly experienced by young adults in their twenties, such as career uncertainty, financial concerns, social pressure, and self-development. The objective of this study is to analyze the producer's responsibilities during the pre-production, production, and post-production stages. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach through observation, audience surveys, and literature studies. The findings indicate that the producer plays a crucial role as a concept initiator, resource manager, and content gatekeeper who ensures the quality and relevance of the program. Through effective production management, the podcast is able to deliver informative, educational, and engaging content that meets the needs of its target audience. Therefore, the producer's role significantly contributes to the success and quality of the podcast program.

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini membahas peran produser dalam mengatur proses produksi program radio podcast Quarter Life Crisis: Talk Over 20S. Program podcast ini mengangkat berbagai permasalahan yang umum dialami oleh generasi muda usia 20-an, seperti ketidakpastian karier, masalah finansial, tekanan sosial, dan pengembangan diri. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran serta tanggung jawab produser pada tahap praproduksi, produksi, dan pascaproduksi. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif melalui observasi, survei audiens, dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produser memiliki peran penting sebagai penggagas konsep, pengelola sumber daya, serta penyaring konten yang bertanggung jawab menjaga kualitas dan relevansi program. Melalui manajemen produksi yang baik, program podcast mampu menyajikan informasi yang edukatif, menarik, dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan audiens. Dengan demikian, peran produser sangat menentukan keberhasilan dan kualitas program podcast yang diproduksi.
