Pengembangan Motif Sulaman Tumbuhan dan Desain Busana Ready To Wear Etnik Modern Sebagai Upaya Meningkatkan Daya tarik Produksi L'Mira Ethnique Bagi Remaja bagi

L'Mira Ethnique is a fashion brand that embraces ethnic elements through the use of woven fabric and handmade craftsmanship. Although its products for children and adults have received positive market responses, its products for the teenage segment have attracted less interest. This study aims to develop independent plant embroidery motifs and design modern ethnic ready-to-wear clothing to enhance the appeal of L'Mira Ethnique products for teenagers. The research employed the Design Thinking method developed by the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design, consisting of the stages of empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. Data were collected through observation, interviews, literature review, and questionnaires. The questionnaire results from 94 respondents indicated that 57.4% selected plant motifs as the most suitable motifs to be developed, while 93.6% stated that the proposed motifs possessed distinctive characteristics and were rarely found in teenage fashion collections. The final outcome of this study is the development of independent plant embroidery motifs and a collection of modern ethnic ready-to-wear garments, which are expected to strengthen L'Mira Ethnique's visual identity and increase the attractiveness of its products for the teenage market.

L'Mira Ethnique merupakan brand fashion yang mengangkat unsur etnik melalui penggunaan kain tenun dan sentuhan handmade. Meskipun produk untuk segmen anak-anak dan dewasa telah memperoleh respons pasar yang baik, produk untuk segmen remaja masih kurang diminati. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan motif sulaman tumbuhan secara mandiri dan merancang busana ready to wear etnik modern untuk meningkatkan daya tarik produk L'Mira Ethnique pada segmen remaja. Metode yang digunakan adalah design thinking Hasso Plattner Institute of Design dengan tahapan empathize, define, ideate, prototype, dan test. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, studi literatur dan kuesioner. Hasil kuesioner menunjukkan terhadap 94 responden menunjukkan bahwa 57,4% responden memilih motif tumbuhan sebagai motif yang paling sesuai untuk dikembangkan, sedangkan 93,6% responden menilai motif yang dirancang memiliki karakter khas dan belum banyak ditemukan pada busana remaja. Hasil akhir penelitian berupa pengembangan motif sulaman tumbuhan dan koleksi busana ready to wear etnik modern yang diharapkan mampu memperkuat identitas visual L'Mira Ethnique serta meningkatkan daya tarik produk pada segmen remaja.
