COLOR MATCHING PADA BERBAGAI JENIS KERTAS SEBAGAI UPAYAANTISIPASI KELUHAN PELANGGAN

Packaging plays an important role in protecting products, increasing sales value,
and creating a positive image. There are three types of packaging, namely primary,
secondary and tertiary. Secondary packaging is usually printed using an offset
technique because the printing results are better and longer lasting. In the
production of offset printing inks, problems often arise in the form of color
discrepancies between the printed results and the standards desired by the customer.
This research aims to test the suitability of ink colors on various types of paper
using trial printing techniques. The methods used in testing include observation,
literature study, interviews, experiments, and documentation. The author carried
out tests at the PT DIC Graphicsinplant to assessthe accuracy of the printed results
and the suitability of the production paper. This test uses tools or testing machines
such as RI tester machines and Densitospectrometers. This test shows that color
adjustments on various types of paper are able to answer customer complaints
regarding differences in print results. This research provides a solution to increase
the efficiency and quality of print results in the ink production process.

Kemasan berperan penting dalam melindungi produk, meningkatkan nilai jual, dan
menciptakan citra positif. Ada tiga jenis kemasan yaitu primer, sekunder dan tersier.
Kemasan sekunder biasanya dicetak dengan teknik offset karena hasil cetak lebih
baik dan tahan lama. Dalam produksi tinta cetak offset sering kali timbul
permasalahan berupa ketidaksesuaian warna antara hasil cetakan dengan standar
yang diinginkan pelanggan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji kecocokan
warna tinta pada berbagai jenis kertas dengan menggunakan teknik cetak coba.
Metode yang digunakan dalam pengujian meliputi observasi, studi pustaka,
wawancara, eksperimen, serta dokumentasi. Penulis melakukan pengujian di
inplant PT DIC Graphics untuk menilai keakuratan hasil cetakan dan kesesuaian
kertas produksi. pengujian ini menggunakan alat atau mesin uji seperti, mesin RI
tester dan Densitospectrometer. Pengujian ini menunjukkan bahwa penyesuaian
warna pada berbagai jenis kertas mampu menjawab keluhan pelanggan mengenai
perbedaan hasil cetakan. Penelitian ini memberikan solusi untuk meningkatkan
efisiensi dan kualitas hasil cetak pada proses produksi tinta.
