PENGEMBANGAN APLIKASI INFORMASI BERBASIS WEBSITE UNTUK KOMUNITAS BIDIKMISI POLITEKNIK NEGERI MEDIA KREATIF

This phenomenon can be observed from the lack of information conveyed through
social media platforms, resulting in minimal news or articles about activities,
events and the latest developments that occur. The impacts faced by the Bidikmisi
Community include information problems, the need for improvements in terms of
providing information related to scholarships. Second, communication problems,
requiring open communication facilities so that students can quickly get
information from the same problem. Third, re-registration of scholarships every
semester, so that the Bidikmisi Community supervisors can easily and quickly
submit scholarship applications every semester. To overcome this problem, a
website-based application was developed that can be easily accessed on various
devices. This development uses the structured and sequential Waterfall method. The
results of this study provide a positive contribution based on the results of the
effectiveness test for members of the Polimedia Bidikmisi Community, namely Non
Management Students with a value of 90.33%, Active Management Students
95.21%, and Commission Supervisors 75.00%. The usability test using the SUS
method obtained a value of 68.25% which is categorized as "Good". From the
results of the two tests, it can be concluded that the website is effective and
appropriate for the Bidikmisi Community.

Fenomena ini dapat diamati dari kurangnya informasi yang disampaikan melalui
platform media sosial, yang mengakibatkan minimnya berita atau artikel tentang
kegiatan, peristiwa serta perkembangan terbaru yang terjadi. Dampak yang
dihadapi pada Komunitas Bidikmisi ialah antara lain permasalahan informasi, perlu
adanya perbaikan dalam hal penyediaan informasi terkait beasiswa. Kedua
permasalahan komunikasi, membutuhkan sarana komunikasi yang terbuka agar
mahasiswa bisa dengan cepat mendapatkan informasi dari masalah yang sama.
Ketiga yaitu pendaftaran ulang beasiswa setiap semester, agar pihak pembina
Komunitas Bidikmisi dapat dengan mudah dan cepat untuk melakukkan pengajuan
beasiswa disetiap semester. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, dilakukan
pengembangan aplikasi berbasis website yang dapat dengan mudah diakses pada
berbagai perangkat. Pengembangan ini menggunakan metode Waterfall yang
terstruktur dan berurutan. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi positif
berdasarkan hasil uji efektivitas bagi anggota Komunitas Bidikmisi Polimedia,
yaitu Mahasiswa Non Kepengurusan dengan nilai 90,33%, Mahasiswa
Kepengurusan Aktif 95,21%, dan Pembina Komisi 75,00%. Uji kegunaan dengan
metode SUS mendapatkan nilai 68,25% yang dikategorikan “Baik”. Dari hasil
kedua uji tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa website tersebut efektif dan tepat bagi
Komunitas Bidikmisi.
