IDENTIFIKASI MASALAH DEFECT PRINTING PADA KEMASAN FLEKSIBEL DI MESIN ROTOGRAVURE SGM F250-1200 DI PT MULIAPACK INTISEMPURNA

Rotogravure printing is a direct printing technique. The ink passes directly to the
substrate of a small cell that is alternate-etching, scratched above the surface
cylinder. Printing techniques on the inner or rotogravure include the direct printing
techniques, the raw materials directly touching the gravure cylinder as the bearer
of the image. During the production process, there is often production defects such
as engraving printing. The presence of printing on packaging products is one aspect
that may affect customer discontent. On the other hand, the presence of printing on
the production process causes tardiness and requires the cost of additional
production and labor that must be paid to correct it. The methods employed during
industrial practice are observation, interviews, and library studies. There are
thirteen types of printing that occurred in perfect central whitcomb pt in januarymay 2024. Regular, intensive, and practical care should be given.

Teknik cetak rotogravure merupakan teknik cetak direct printing. Tinta berpindah
secara langsung ke substrate dari suatu cell kecil yang ter – engraving (ter – etching,
tergores) diatas surface cylinder (image carrier). Teknik pencetakan pada cetak
dalam atau rotogravure termasuk teknik cetak langsung, yaitu bahan baku cetak
langsung bersentuhan dengan silinder gravure sebagai pembawa image. Pada saat
proses produksi, sering kali adanya cacat produksi seperti defect printing. Adanya
defect printing pada kemasan produk merupakan salah satu aspek yang dapat
mempengaruhi ketidakpuasan pelanggan. Disisi lain, adanya defect printing pada
proses produksi menyebabkan keterlambatan serta membutuhkan biaya produksi
dan tenaga kerja tambahan yang harus dibayar untuk memperbaikinya. Metode
yang dilakukan selama penulisan laporan Tugas Akhir yaitu pra produksi, produksi,
dan paska produksi. Terdapat tiga belas jenis defect printing yang terjadi di PT
Muliapack Intisempurna pada bulan Januari-Mei 2024. Penanganan yang dilakukan
adalah harus selalu memeriksa komponen mesin secara teratur dan intensif serta
melakukan pelatihan.
