PERANCANGAN BUSANA READY TO WEAR WANITA MENGGUNAKAN ZERO WASTE PATTERN DARI SISA BAHAN TIDAK TERPAKAI

The fashion industry contributes to the increase in textile waste, one of which is in the form of leftover pieces of fabric from the production process that has not been optimally utilized. This problem is also found in the Hunting Fields brand which produces unused production materials from the pattern cutting process. This design aims to optimize the utilization of the remaining materials through the application of the zero waste pattern method on women's ready to wear clothing that is in accordance with the character of the Hunting Fields design. The theories used include the concept of ready to wear, sustainable fashion, the utilization of unused production materials, and zero waste pattern. Design methods include literature study, observation, interview, data analysis, concept development, pattern making, and product realization. The design results show that the implementation of zero waste pattern is able to optimally utilize the remaining production materials as part of fashion design, so that it can reduce the potential for textile waste without reducing the aesthetic value and function of the product. This design produces women's ready to wear clothing that supports the principle of sustainability and remains in harmony with the Hunting Fields brand identity.

Industri fashion berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan limbah tekstil, salah satunya berupa sisa potongan kain dari proses produksi yang belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Permasalahan ini juga ditemukan pada brand Hunting Fields yang menghasilkan bahan produksi tidak terpakai dari proses pemotongan pola. Perancangan ini bertujuan mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan sisa bahan tersebut melalui penerapan metode zerowaste pattern pada busana ready to wear wanita yang sesuai dengan karakter desain Hunting Fields. Teori yang digunakan meliputi konsep ready to wear, sustainable fashion, pemanfaatan bahan produksi tidak terpakai, dan zero waste pattern. Metode perancangan meliputi studi pustaka, observasi, wawancara, analisis data, pengembangan konsep, pembuatan pola, dan realisasi produk. Hasil perancangan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan zero waste pattern mampu memanfaatkan sisa bahan produksi secara optimal menjadi bagian dari desain busana, sehingga dapat mengurangi potensi limbah tekstil tanpa mengurangi nilai estetika dan fungsi produk. Perancangan ini menghasilkan busana ready to wear wanita yang mendukung prinsip keberlanjutan serta tetap selaras dengan identitas brand Hunting Fields.
