PENANGGULANGAN REJECT HICKIES HASIL CETAKAN GIFT BOX MENGGUNAKAN MESIN KOMORI LITHRONE G40 DI PT SOLO MURNI

The hickies reject is one of the problems that often occurs in the printing process of
visual media printed using the offset printing technique. This problem can affect the
quality of the print and the efficiency of machine performance. Handling hickies
rejects requires a systematic and structured approach to find out the root cause of
the problem. This writing uses the fishbone analysis method to find out what factors
have the potential to cause hickies rejects, with a focus on ink rolls and machine
settings. The results show that lack of maintenance on the ink roll and machine
setting parameters are essential factors that influence the appearance of hickies
rejects. The impact of hickies is not only limited to how hickies rejects occur, what
impacts they cause and how to overcome them. Apart from increasing the reject
rate on the final product, hickies rejects can also result in unplanned machine
downtime. Therefore, an in-depth understanding of the factors causing hickies and
the implementation of effective countermeasure strategies are essential to improve
the operational efficiency and print quality of offset machines.

Reject hickies adalah salah satu masalah yang sering terjadi pada proses pencetakan
media visual yang dicetak dengan teknik cetak ofset, Masalah ini yang dapat
mempengaruhi kualitas cetakan dan efisiensi kinerja mesin. Penanganan reject
hickies memerlukan pendekatan sistematis dan terstruktur untuk mengetahui
penyebab akar masalahnya. Penulisan ini menggunakan metode analisis fishbone
untuk mengetahui apa saja faktor-faktor yang berpotensi menyebabkan reject
hickies, dengan fokus pada roll tinta dan pengaturan mesin. Hasil menunjukkan
bahwa kurangnya perawatan pada roll tinta dan parameter pengaturan mesin
menjadi faktor esensial yang mempengaruhi kemunculan dari reject hickies.
Dampak dari hickies ini tidak hanya terbatas pada bagaimana reject hickies terjadi,
apa saja dampak yang ditimbulkan dan bagaimana cara penanggulangannya. Selain
