Perancangan Busana Semi Formal Modest untuk Wanita dengan Pengembangan Motif Bordir di UMKM Salsabila Bordir

Salsabila Bordir is an MSME engaged in embroidery of household linen products. Currently Salsabila Bordir has not developed its semi-formal fashion products, while there is a request from partner consumers for the development of modest semi-formal fashion products using embroidery techniques because they see a trend in the development of embroidered modest clothing in Indonesia and most of the partner consumers use modest clothing. The purpose of this final project research is to make fashion product development at Salsabila Bordir partners by making modest semi formal clothing for women with embroidery techniques, as an effort to meet the demand of Salsabila Bordir partner customers for modest clothing with the application of embroidery techniques. This final project research uses qualitative data collection with the Hasso Platner Design Thinking design methodology approach with the stages of Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. The results of the development of modest semi-formal fashion products and the development of floral motifs can be a sales opportunity for partners for career women consumers aged 24 to 28 years. It can be concluded that this outfit can be used by partner consumers as work clothes or clothes for semi-formal events by using floral motif embroidery details with short jump stitch techniques that can be an accent to provide more aesthetics in modest semi formal clothing.

Salsabila Bordir merupakan UMKM yang bergerak dibidang bordir produk lenan rumah tangga. Saat ini Salsabila Bordir belum mengembangkan produk busana semi formalnya, sementara terdapat permintaan dari konsumen mitra untuk pengembangan produk busana semi formal modest menggunakan teknik bordir dikarenakan melihat adanya trend perkembangan busana modest bordir di Indonesia dan kebanyakan dari konsumen mitra menggunakan busana modest. Tujuan dari penelitian tugas akhir ini adalah membuat pengembangan produk fashion pada mitra Salsabila Bordir dengan pembuatan busana semi formal modest untuk wanita dengan teknik bordir, sebagai upaya untuk memenuhi permintaan pelanggan mitra Salsabila Bordir terhadap busana modest dengan pengaplikasian teknik bordir. Penelitian tugas akhir ini menggunakan pengumpulan data kualitatif dengan pendekatan metodologi perancangan Design Thinking Hasso Platner dengan tahapan Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, dan Test. Hasil pengembangan produk busana semi formal modest dan pengembangan motif flora ini dapat menjadi peluang penjualan untuk mitra terhadap konsumen wanita karir usia 24 sampai 28 tahun. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa busana ini dapat digunakan oleh konsumenm mitra sebagai busana kerja ataupun busana untuk acara semi formal dengan menggunakan detail bordir motif flora dengan teknik tusuk loncat pendek yang dapat menjadi aksen untuk memberikan estetika lebih dalam busana semi formal modest.
