Pengolahan Kain Perca Menjadi Busana Casual Remaja dengan Teknik Patchwork dan Origami Tekstil

Rumah Konveksi Sky Collection merupakan Rumah konveksi yang sedang mengalami masalah penumpukan kain perca yang belum dimanfaatkan dengan efektif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengolah sampah kain yang dimiliki Rumah Konveksi Sky Collection menjadi variasi produk yang unik dan memiliki nilai jual. Eksplorasi yang digunakan adalah kombinasi antara teknik patchwork dan origami tekstil. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif eksplorasi dengan menggunakan design thingking Hasso plattner yang terdiri dari lima tahap, yaitu emphitize, define, ideate, prototype dan test. Hasil penelitian, pengembangan produk busana dengan teknik patchwork dan origami tekstil. Hasil produk adalah 3 look busana berupa inner, outer, dan rok/celana yang diproses berdasarkan tahapan design thingking dimulai dari analisis design, membuat pola, membuat ornamen origami tekstil, membuat lembaran kain patchwork, memotong bahan, menjahit, fitting hingga proses photoshoot. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengolahan perca menjadi produk busana siap pakai berupa busana cassual untuk wanita remaja usia 19-30 tahun dengan style classic cassual

The Sky Collection Convention House is a convention house that is experiencing the problem of the accumulation of perca fabrics that have not been utilized effectively. The purpose of this research is to process the garbage fabric that belongs to the Sky Collection Convention House into a unique product variation that has a sales value. The exploration used was a combination of patchwork techniques and textile origami. This research method is qualitative exploration using Hasso Plattner's thingking design that consists of five stages, namely emphitize, define, ideate, prototype and test. The results of the research, the development of fashion products with patchwork and textile origami techniques. The product results are 3 fashion looks such as inner, outer, and skirt/pants that are processed based on phases of design thingking starting from design analysis, making patterns, making ornaments origami textiles, making sheets of patchworks, cutting materials, sewing, fitting to the process of photoshoot. So it can be concluded that the processing of perca into a ready-to-use fashion product is a casual fashion for teenage women aged 19-30 with a classic casual style.
