Peran Editor Dalam Membangun Mood Menggunakan Video Tape Pada Program Live Show "Gelora Budaya"

Television plays a vital role in disseminating information and entertainment; however,
the lack of cultural programming, especially traditional Indonesian dance, has led to
the creation of the Live Show "Gelora Budaya." This program is designed to preserve
and introduce the richness of Indonesian traditional dance to the younger generation
and the wider audience, both domestically and internationally, through educational
and engaging television broadcasts. The author acts as the editor, managing all stages
of production. During pre-production, the author creates visual assets such as the OBB,
lower thirds, credit titles, and VT. During production, the author operates streaming
using VMIX, ensuring the smooth running of assets according to the rundown. Post
production involves evaluation and data backup. The results show that VT is highly
effective in building mood and supporting information delivery, especially in the dance
history segment. The combination of fast-tempo music (120 BPM), dynamic transitions,
and voice-over narration successfully creates an informative and engaging
atmosphere. In conclusion, the editor’s role, particularly in VT production, is crucial
in shaping the mood of the "Gelora Budaya" program and significantly contributes to
cultural preservation efforts through television media.

Televisi berperan vital dalam menyebarkan informasi dan hiburan, namun minimnya
tayangan budaya, khususnya seni tari tradisional Indonesia, memicu hadirnya program
Live Show "Gelora Budaya". Acara ini dirancang untuk melestarikan dan
memperkenalkan kekayaan tari tradisional Indonesia kepada generasi muda dan
masyarakat luas, baik di dalam maupun luar negeri, melalui tayangan televisi yang
edukatif dan menarik. Penulis berperan sebagai editor, mengelola seluruh tahapan
produksi. Pada pra-produksi, penulis membuat aset visual seperti opening bumper
(OBB), lower third, credit title, dan VT. Saat produksi, penulis mengoperasikan
streaming menggunakan VMIX, memastikan kelancaran aset sesuai rundown. Setelah
produksi, evaluasi dan backup data dilakukan. Hasilnya, VT terbukti sangat efektif
membangun mood dan mendukung penyampaian informasi, terutama pada segmen
sejarah tari. Kombinasi musik ber tempo cepat (120 BPM), transisi dinamis, dan narasi
voice over berhasil menciptakan suasana informatif dan menarik. Kesimpulannya,
peran editor, khususnya dalam produksi VT, krusial dalam membangun mood program
"Gelora Budaya" dan berkontribusi signifikan dalam upaya pelestarian budaya melalui
media televisi.
