PERAN PROGRAM DIRECTOR DALAM PENGGUNAAN TEKNIK SINEMATOGRAFI PADA PROGRAM MAGAZINE SHOW

ABSTRACT
This writing discusses the role of the Program Director in exploring and applying
varied cinematographic techniques in the production of a travel and tourism-
themed magazine show program entitled Eksplorasi 3 Srikandi, aimed at
Generation Z through the Video On Demand platform. The problem in this final
project report is How is the role of the Program Director in exploring and applying
varied cinematographic techniques in the production of magazine show programs
To solve this problem, the author uses the theories: program director who is
responsible for visuals and the entire program production process, and
Cinematography is a technique of taking and combining images to convey stories,
and Magazine show is a TV program in the form of informative rubrics such as
magazines, tailored to the interests of the audience. In addition, the author also
uses a hands-on implementation method during the production of the final project,
starting from location research, visual concept preparation, to the directing
process in the field. The final result of this final project report has been the
implementation of good cinematographic exploration by the Program Director in
the production of the magazine program Exploration of 3 srikandi.

ABSTRAK
Penulisan ini membahas peran Program Director dalam mengeksplorasi dan
menerapkan teknik sinematografi yang variatif pada produksi program magazine
show bertema perjalanan dan pariwisata berjudul Eksplorasi 3 Srikandi, yang
ditujukan bagi Generasi Z melalui platform Video On Demand. Permasalahan
dalam laporan tugas akhir ini adalah Bagaimana peran Program Director dalam
mengeksplorasi dan menerapkan teknik sinematografi yang variatif pada produksi
program magazine show Untuk menyelesaikan masalah tersebut, penulis
menggunakan teori : program director yang bertanggung jawab atas visual dan
seluruh proses produksi program, serta Sinematografi merupakan teknik
pengambilan dan penggabungan gambar untuk menyampaikan cerita, dan
Magazine show adalah program TV berbentuk rubrik informatif seperti majalah,
disesuaikan dengan minat audiens. Selain itu, penulis juga menggunakan Metode
pelaksanaan dilakukan secara praktik langsung selama produksi tugas akhir,
dimulai dari riset lokasi, penyusunan konsep visual, hingga proses penyutradaraan
di lapangan. Hasil akhir dari laporan tugas ahkir ini telah terlaksananya eksplorasi
sinematografi yang baik oleh Program Director dalam produksi program magazine
Eksplorasi 3 srikandi.
