EKSPLORASI MOTIF BUNGA WATERCOLOR DENGAN TEKNIK DIGITAL PRINTING PADA KOLEKSI MODEST WEAR SATEX GROUP

The problem faced by Satex Group is the need for a unique selling point in the form of a distinctive motif that aligns with the company’s brand DNA. This study aims to design innovative watercolor floral motifs to meet the current demands of the modestwear fashion market. The theoretical framework includes digital printing techniques, exploration of floral motifs with decorative patterns, and digital motif placement. The motif inspirations are drawn from native Indonesian flowers, specifically Rafflesia Arnoldii and Edelweiss Java, chosen for their uniqueness and cultural symbolism. The design approach follows the Hasso Plattner design thinking model, which consists of five stages: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. The results of the motif exploration indicate that combining local floral elements with digital techniques creates designs with strong character and high aesthetic value. The conclusion of this study is that the developed motifs can serve as a strong visual identity for Satex Group and are competitive in the modestwear market.

Masalah yang dihadapi perusahaan Satex Group yaitu membutuhkan unique selling point motif sebagai identitas visual yang khas dan sesuai dengan DNA perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang motif bunga watercolor yang inovatif guna memenuhi kebutuhan pasar fashion modestwear saat ini. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik digital printing, eksplorasi motif floral dengan pola hiasan serta penempatan motif secara digital, dengan inspirasi utama dari bunga khas Indonesia yaitu Rafflesia Arnoldi dan Edelweiss Jawa. Metode yang diterapkan adalah pendekatan design thinking model Hasso Plattner. Hasil dari eksplorasi motif menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi elemen bunga lokal dengan teknik digital menghasilkan motif yang memiliki karakter kuat dan estetika tinggi. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa motif yang dirancang mampu menjadi identitas visual perusahaan dan memiliki daya saing tinggi di pasar modestwear.
