PENERAPAN PSIKOLOGI WARNA DALAM VISUALISASI FILM ANIMASI BERTEMA SELF ACCEPTENCE “THE TROOTH”

“The Trooth” merupakan film pendek animasi yang dibuat berdasarkan
tujuan untuk menyampaikan pesan penerimaan diri melalui karakter anak yang
tidak percaya diri dengan gigi kelincinya. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan
untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari penerapan psikologi warna terhadap penyampaian
visual dalam film animasi “The Trooth”. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode
penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan identifikasi warna, di
mana warna dominan pada environment, lighting, dan pemilihan warna identitas
karakter pada karakterisasi dalam film akan dianalisis berdasarkan teori psikologi
warna. Hasil yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini adalah pemahaman tentang
bagaimana pemilihan warna pada environment, lighting, dan warna identitas
karakter dapat memengaruhi visual film pada suasana yang diangkat, dan
karakterisasi tokoh dalam film animasi “The Trooth”.

“The Trooth” is an animated short film created with the aim of conveying a
message of self-acceptance through the character of a child who is not confident
with his bunny teeth. This study was conducted with the aim of determining the
effect of the application of color psychology on visual delivery in the animated film
“The Trooth”. This study uses a qualitative research method with data analysis
techniques using color identification, where the dominant colors in the
environment, lighting, and the choice of character identity colors in the
characterization in the film will be analyzed based on color psychology theory. The
results obtained from this study are an understanding of how the choice of colors
in the environment, lighting, and character identity colors can affect the film's
visuals on the atmosphere raised, and the characterization of the characters in the
animated film “The Trooth”
