EKSPLORASI GERAKAN TARI JAIPONG TOK CER MELALUI TEKNIK LONG EXPOSURE (BULB)

ABSTRAK
Jaipong dance is a traditional art typical of Sundanese culture which is known for its energetic, rhythmic and expressive movements. However, in the midst of modernization, this art faces challenges in attracting the attention of the younger generation to preserve it. Photography is present as an effective medium for documenting and promoting the beauty of Jaipong Dance art.
By using long exposure techniques, Jaipong Dance movements can be recorded in the form of light trails, producing abstract visualizations that still reflect the dance's distinctive rhythm and energy. This writing combines traditional art with modern technology, creating visual works that are both aesthetic and meaningful. Apart from being a means of documentation, this work also aims to introduce the beauty of Jaipong Dance to the wider community, especially the younger generation, so as to increase appreciation of traditional art.
The results of the work show that the long exposure technique is effective in representing Jaipong Dance movements in a unique way, providing a new perspective that is relevant in the digital era.

Tari Jaipong adalah seni tradisional khas budaya Sunda yang dikenal dengan gerakan energik, ritmis, dan penuh ekspresi. Namun, di tengah modernisasi, seni ini menghadapi tantangan dalam menarik perhatian generasi muda untuk melestarikannya. Fotografi hadir sebagai media yang efektif untuk mendokumentasikan sekaligus mempromosikan keindahan seni Tari Jaipong.
Dengan menggunakan teknik long exposure, gerakan Tari Jaipong dapat direkam dalam bentuk jejak cahaya, menghasilkan visualisasi abstrak yang tetap mencerminkan ritme dan energi khas tari tersebut. Penulisan ini memadukan seni tradisional dengan teknologi modern, menciptakan karya visual yang estetis sekaligus bermakna. Selain sebagai sarana dokumentasi, karya ini juga bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan keindahan Tari Jaipong kepada masyarakat luas, khususnya generasi muda, sehingga dapat meningkatkan apresiasi terhadap seni tradisional.
Hasil karya menunjukkan bahwa teknik long exposure efektif dalam merepresentasikan gerakan Tari Jaipong dengan cara yang unik, memberikan perspektif baru yang relevan di era digital.
