Peran Penata Kamera Dalam Memvisualisasikan Emosi Pada Program Feature Televisi "Top Care"

ABSTRACT
The television program titled Top Care is a feature-format human interest program that showcases the stories of the struggles of foundation staff who dedicate their lives to caring for and empowering survivors, presented through their daily lives at the Sentra Mulya Jaya Foundation. In this program, the writer serves as the Cinematographer, responsible for the visual elements of the production, from the pre-production stage, production, to post-production, to ensure that the resulting visual imagery can communicate emotions in line with the program's vision. This program explores how the Cinematographer utilizes cinematographic techniques, such as camera angles, lighting, and shot composition, to enhance the emotional narrative, ensuring that the information in this program can be effectively conveyed to the wider public. The main focus of this program is the challenge of adjusting narrative elements to depict the emotional experiences of the foundation's staff and the survivors they assist. Results show that technical decisions, such as lighting setup and camera movement, play an important role in conveying a warm, empathetic message and depicting the resilience of the foundation's staff and the survivors they assist. This feature program aims to provide information to the general public. The author's hope for this work is that it can serve as a medium of information, education, and inspiration for the public to better understand the struggles of social workers in caring for survivors and to learn about the workflow of the Camera Operator in creating visuals that align with the program's vision.

ABSTRAK
Program televisi berjudul Top Care merupakan program televisi berformat feature berjenis human interest yang menampilkan kisah dari perjuangan para petugas yayasan yang mendedikasikan hidupnya dalam merawat dan memberdayakan para penyintas yang dikemas secara kehidupan sehari – hari di Yayasan Sentra Mulya Jaya. Dalam program ini, penulis sebagai Penata Kamera yang berperan sebagai penanggung jawab elemen visual dari produksi, mulai dari tahap pra – produksi, produksi, hingga paska – produksi untuk memastikan bahwa gambaran visual yang dihasilkan dapat mengkomunikasikan emosi sesuai visi program. Program ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana Penata Kamera memanfaatkan teknik sinematografi, seperti sudut kamera, pencahayaan, dan komposisi shot, untuk memperkuat narasi emosional, sehingga informasi dalam program ini dapat tersampaikan dengan baik kepada masyarakat luas. Fokus utama program ini adalah tantangan dalam menyesuaikan elemen naratif untuk menggambarkan pengalaman emosional para petugas yayasan dan penyintas yang mereka bantu. Hasil yang menunjukkan bahwa keputusan teknis, seperti penataan cahaya dan pergerakan kamera, memiliki peran penting dalam menyampaikan pesan yang hangat, empatik, dan menggambarkan ketangguhan para petugas yayasan dan penyintas. Program feature ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi kepada masyarakat luas. Harapan penulis pada karya ini adalah karya ini dapat dijadikan sebagai wadah informasi, edukasi dan inspirasi kepada masyarakat agar lebih mengetahui perjuangan para pekerja sosial dalam merawat penyintas serta mengetahui alur kerja Penata Kamera dalam mmebuat visual yang sesuai dengan visi program.
