ABSTRACT

This final project with the title Still Life Photography of Crochet Doll Products “AWCRAFT”, raises the object of Crochet Dolls as the object of this final project photo. Amigurumi, or commonly calle d crochet dolls, are dolls made with one- needle crochet technique. Amigurumi comes from two Japanese words: "ami", meaning "crocheted" and "nuigurumi", meaning "doll" The word can be translated as "toy made of crochet". The benefits of this work for the author are to enrich the visual and aesthetics of the work through still life photography of crochet doll products “AWCRAFT”, in the photo work to support visualization in the still life technique, and want to show an alternative to how to sell products with a story from the visual. the author has a goal to produce Still Life Photography of Crochet Doll Products “AWCRAFT”. The author can formulate the problem, namely how is the process of making Still Life Photography of Crochet Doll Products “AWCRAFT”?. The type of photography used by the author is commercial photography such as promoting a product or service, for example Product Photography. In this photo work, the author uses a still life shooting technique to create an image of an inanimate object or object to make it look much more alive and talking. The word “still” means a still or dead object, while the word ‘life’ means alive and gives the context of “appearing alive” to the object.

ABSTRAK

Tugas akhir ini dengan judul Still Life Fotografi Produk Boneka Crochet “AWCRAFT”, mengangkat objek Boneka Crochet sebagai objek foto tugas akhir ini. Amigurumi, atau biasa disebut boneka crochet (Boneka Kaitan), adalah boneka yang dibuat dengan teknik merenda satu jarum. Amigurumi berasal dari dua kata Jepang: “ami”, yang berarti "kaitan" dan “nuigurumi”, yang berarti "boneka" Kata tersebut dapat diterjemahkan sebagai “mainan yang terbuat dari kaitan”. Manfaat karya ini bagi penulis adalah memperkaya visual dan estetika karya melalui still life fotografi produk boneka crochet “AWCRAFT”, pada karya foto untuk mendukung visualisasi pada teknik still life, dan ingin menampilkan alternatif bagaimana menjual produk dengan sebuah cerita dari visualnya. penulis mempunyai tujuan untuk memproduksi foto Still Life Fotografi Produk Boneka Crochet “AWCRAFT”. Penulis dapat merumuskan masalah yaitu bagaimana proses pembuatan Still Life Fotografi Produk Boneka Crochet “AWCRAFT”? .
Jenis fotografi yang digunakan penulis yaitu fotografi komersial seperti mempromosikan sesuatu produk atau jasa, contohnya Fotografi Produk. Pada karya foto ini penulis menggunakan teknik pemotretan still life adalah menciptakan sebuah gambar dari benda atau objek mati agar tampak jauh lebih hidup dan berbicara. Kata “still” berarti benda diam atau mati, sedangkan kata “life” berarti hidup dan memberikan konteks “tampak hidup” .
