PERAN PROGRAM DIRECTOR DALAM MEMVISUALISASIKAN VIVID COLOR PADA PROGRAM VARIETY SHOW EDUTAINMENT " CREATIVE KIDS "

This Final Project Report discusses the design and production of a children’s variety education entertainment program titled "Creative Kids", which integrates educational and entertaining elements through the loose parts approach. The program aims to encourage creativity, imagination, and problem-solving skills among early childhood audiences. The author acted as the Program Director, responsible for the entire production process from pre-production to post-production. A descriptive qualitative method was used, with data collected through observation, interviews, literature review, and questionnaires. Qualitative data was obtained through interviews with five kindergarten children and observation of their color preferences. The results show that most children preferred vivid color visuals and enjoyed creative formats similar to the reference programs (Si Otan, Dunia Handmade, and Si Bolang). This report concludes that the role of the Program Director is essential in aligning the creative vision with the educational objectives and age-appropriate content for children.

Laporan Tugas Akhir ini membahas perancangan dan produksi program variety education entertainment anak-anak berjudul “Creative kids” yang menggabungkan konsep edukatif dan hiburan melalui pendekatan loose parts. Tujuan dari program ini adalah menciptakan tayangan anak yang mampu mendorong kreativitas, imajinasi, serta kemampuan problem solving anak-anak usia dini. Penulis berperan sebagai Program Director yang bertanggung jawab atas seluruh proses produksi, mulai dari pra-produksi, produksi, hingga pasca-produksi. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, studi pustaka, dan kuesioner. Data kualitatif diperoleh dari wawancara terhadap lima anak usia dini serta observasi preferensi warna visual. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas anak menyukai pendekatan warna cerah (vivid color) serta menyukai format tayangan berbasis kreativitas seperti pada program referensi (Si Otan, Dunia Handmade, dan Si Bolang). Simpulan dari laporan ini adalah bahwa peran Program Director sangat krusial dalam mengarahkan keseluruhan visi kreatif agar tetap sesuai dengan konsep edukatif dan segmentasi usia anak-anak.
