PERAN PROGRAM DIRECTOR DALAM PERANCANGAN PROGRAM DOKUMENTER TELEVISI EKSPOSITORI “LESTARI SATWA”

Pada pembuatan karya Tugas Akhir Program Dokumenter Televisi yang berjudul “Lestari
satwa” peran penulis adalah sebagai Program Director yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui
peran program director dalam pembuatan program televisi yang mengambil format
dokumenter "Lestari Satwa", Latar belakang pembuatan karya ini adalah tentang kekayaan
alam yaitu kehidupan satwa yang mengalami keterancaman punah yang berada di
Indonesia. Dokumenter ini bergaya narasi di tipe ekspositori Penulis sebagai Program
Director mulai dari Pra Produksi hingga paska Produksi membuat konsep, riset, menyusun
cerita, membuat konsep pengambilan gambar, dan audio, memberikan instuksi kepada kru
supaya berjalan dengan lancar, memberikan arahan kepada talent, pengembangan ide, serta
mengawasi editor agar kebutuhan yang diinginkan tersampaikan. Penulis sebagai program
director bertanggung jawab penuh atas sepenuhnya karya dibuat karena program director
yang direalisasikan penceritaan dari perencanaan.

In making the Final Assignment Work for a Television Documentary Program entitled
"Lestari Animals", the author's role is as Program Director whose aim is to find out the role
of the program director in making a television program which takes the documentary format
"Lestari Animals". The background to making this work is about natural wealth, namely the
life of endangered animals in Indonesia. This documentary film is of narrative and
expository type. The writer as Program Director from Pre-Production to Post-Production
creates concepts, researches, composes stories, creates concepts for shooting and audio,
provides. instructions to the crew so that it runs smoothly, providing direction to talent,
developing ideas, and supervising the editor so that the desired needs are conveyed. The
writer as program director is fully responsible for the work created because the program
director realizes the storytelling from the planning.
