PERANCANGAN PHOTOBOOK MENGENAI SEJARAH PADA MUSEUM LUBANG BUAYA SEBAGAI MEDIA INFORMASI

The museum is an institution tasked with organizing, completing, and
developing the availability of educational objects for anyone in need, the
Lubang Buaya Museum is a History museum located in East Jakarta. This
museum has historical significance because it is related to important events
in Indonesian History, namely the G30S/PKI incident in 1965. Based on
observations and interviews with the Lubang Buaya Museum Staff, currently
the Lubang Buaya Museum does not have a photobook that can be used as a
source of additional information for education. Therefore, this final
assignment is designed with the aim of providing media that can convey
historical and cultural information visually, so that it is easier to understand
and interesting for readers of various ages. The literature review conducted
is by using several books, journals, articles that are closely related to
Photobook Design and other photobook references.The museum is an

Museum merupakan lembaga yang bertugas mengadakan,
melengkapi, dan mengembangkan tersedianya objek edukasi bagi siapapun
yang membutuhkan, Museum Lubang Buaya merupakan sebuah museum
Sejarah yang terletak di Jakarta Timur. Museum ini memiliki signifikan
Sejarah karena terkait dengan peristiwa penting dalam Sejarah Indonesia,
yaitu peristiwa G30S/PKI pada tahun 1965. Berdasarkan observasi dan
wawancara dengan Staf Museum Lubang Buaya, saat ini Museum Lubang
Buaya belum memiliki photobook yang dapat digunakan sebagai sumber
informasi tambahan untuk edukasi.. Oleh karena itu, tugas akhir ini
dirancang dengan tujuan menyediakan media yang dapat menyampaikan
informasi sejarah dan budaya secara visual, sehingga lebih mudah dipahami
dan menarik bagi pembaca dari berbagai kalangan usia. Tinjauan pustaka

yang dilakukan adalah dengan menggunakan beberapa buku, jurnal, artikel
yang berkaitan erat dengan Perancangan Photobook serta referensi
photobook lainnya.
