PERAN PROGRAM DIRECTOR DALAM MEMBANGUN KARAKTER KEUMALAHAYATIDI PROGRAM LIVE OPERA “MENGUKIR KEMENANGAN”

Berdasarkan perkembangan televisi dalam era digital masa kini, menjadikan
program televisi menjadi mudah di akses oleh semua orang. Temuan Nielsen
Indonesia melaporkan jumlah penonton televisi (TV) di perkotaan seluruh
Indonesia mencapai 130 juta orang pada tahun 2023, proyeksi tersebut naik dari
jumlah penonton sebelumnya yang mencapai 58,9 juta.Televisi masih menjadi
media informasi dan media hiburan, menurut suevey yang di lakukan oleh
Databoks, mayoritas 45,7 % Masyarakat menikmati acara hiburan, seperti sinetron
dan pertandingan olahraga, 34,3 % menonton televisi untuk mengikuti berita
terkini, 7,9 % untuk tujuan Pendidikan dan pengetahuan umum dan 5,8%
menonton acara siraman rohani atau keagamaan. Maka, dari itu penulis membuat
program Televisi Live Drama “Mengukir Kemerdekan”. Tujuan dari penulis adalah
mengetahui peran dari seorang Program Director dalam memvisualisasikan naskah
di Program Televisi Live Drama “Di Pesisir Kemerdekaan”. Metode penulisan yang
digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan menggunakan observasi dan studi pustaka
untuk mendapatkan informasi yang dibutuhkan. Pada program ini penulis berperan
sebagai Program Director. Program director merupakan orang yang bertugas, untuk
menginterpretasikan sebuah naskah menjadi bentuk audio visual (Owens, 2020:
16). Sebagai Program Director penulis harus bisa memimpin dalam bidang kreatif
dan juga sebagai Program Director juga harus berkolaborasi dengan divisi divisi
lain dalam menciptakan sebuah tayangan, peran nya sendiri dimulai dari pra
produksi sampai dengan pasca produksi.

programs or religious. Therefore, the author created the Live Drama Television
program "Carving Independence". The aim of the author is to find out the role of
a Program Director in visualizing the script in the Live Drama Television
Program "Mengukir Kemenangan” The writing method used isdescriptive using
observation and literature study to obtain the required information. In this
program the author acts as Program Director. The program director is the person
whose job it is to interpret a script into audio-visual form (Owens, 2020: 16). As
a Program Director, the writer must be able to lead in thecreative field and also
as a Program Director must also collaborate with other divisions in creating a
show, his role starts from pre-production to post- production.
